K... so since I deleted the game, and did a fresh install - and it installed just fine - Trying to turn iCloud on makes the game crash. I'm on an iPhone 5 - iOS 6.1.3 - not jailbroken I did a hard reset and cleared my multitasking bar and all that... and it still crashes right after I try to flip the iCloud button on... Maybe that has something to do with the game not installing the update correctly (although I have NO IDEA why it could be that...)?? I dunno... just thought I'd mention it. - the game plays fine if I just start from stage 1 WITHOUT trying to turn iCloud on...
To the developers: are you guys planning on adding more levels? I collected all the 'anchors' but can't max out the skill tree, makes the game feel a little unfinished. But it's still a great TD game, just needs more.
Hi Jake, I can't reveal our plans at this point, but it is possible to max out the skill tree. You need to attack the levels on hard difficulty then you will be awarded 3 anchors instead of 2 on normal.
I don't think it is possible to fill up the skill tree. I cleared the whole game in hard mode, 3 stars each if I am not mistaken, unless there's a hidden mode, there's just not enough stars to maximise the skill tree.
My quick calculations shows this: 12 levels * 3 anchors each on hard gives 66 anchors. If you look at the tech tree you will see that is exactly the number needed to unlock everything. So unless I'm wrong with my calculations I think maxing our the skill tree should be possible. My calculation obviously was wrong, tabs is absolutely right that it's not possible to fill up the skill tree at the moment. Sorry for the confusion. As a general news, the game was removed from the store until the update problem is resolved and the iCloud bug is fixed. I'll keep you informed.
Hi guys, just to give you a quick update - there are still 2 problems. 1. The update problem that seems to be happening when you update the game to 1.0.2 on iOS6. The game has nothing to do with it, it happens to other games and applications in the app store too, seems to have something to do with how the games metadata is being handled between the store and the device since iOS7 went live. 2. For those of you who managed to update the game to 1.0.2 and are now experiencing the crash after iCloud is enabled - this seems to be connected with the first one as it looks like the iCloud data might have been corrupted after update. We know of other occurrences of this problem in other games after iOS7 went live. At the moment we are working on restoring user data so you don't loose your progress when updating.
Hi everybody. I'm happy to announce that the Pirate Legends TD is back in the store. I sincerely believe all the problems should be fixed now.
No new content this time unfortunately, I can only say that everyone in the studio is aware that players are waiting for new content ;-)
This game is very cute and a decent homage to Kingdom Rush, it feels kinda flat though - as though the enemies have no 'life'. There is no connection between the damage you inflict and the lifespan of the various comical animated stuff coming at you. I just end up bored, watching their health bars and wondering why. I dunno, there is just a fake scenery lack of immersion that pulls me out of the game. The game is certainly fleshed out, and I don't feel like I was tricked or anything... Honestly it might just be that enemies made up of ridiculous stuff just doesn't come across as something I need to worry about.
This game is not showing up in the US App Store, at least for me. Link takes me to a blank page and searching brings up no results...
It takes some time to appear after it was removed. Should become visible after a few hours of being live again.
Showed up in US App Store today. Just reinstalled and played first couple stages. Seems decent enough. Hope they add more levels in the future.
I guess I should clarify. When I go to App Store it just comes up as a blank white screen but it did give me the option to download so I did.
