On map 10 wave 9 anyone have any tips for dealing with the flying guys? I can't get past wave 9 on hard
I used: - hire basic native allies x3 - miniguns with grenades - the pirate bombard very upgraded (AA) - the hero right beneath ship once they get close At least that worked for me with a few small voodoo towers thrown in.
Well deserved 4 stars on the Main site. That's about right, lots of fun gameplay for your buck! I'm still trying to do the last few levels on hard...
Yeah but no. Nicely presented, great graphics & the gameplay works. But for TD in this format has had it's day. I purchased this but after 4 or 5 levels I had to delete it. It's probably just me & TD games, but the grind of a level & a retry taking up so much time just doesn't appeal to me.
Took me a few tries to finish a few of the levels on hard, but I finally did. Never bought any IAP or used any Toes or any of whatever those special things in the bottom right were. It was almost as much fun as Kingdom Rush in my opinion, and I'd welcome more levels or a sequel.
I agree, really enjoy trying to do levels on hard with no IAP's, very challenging game especially from level 5 onwards.
A late thanks to Mr_wexer for the tips, I also agree with Trevor it's a fun game. I made it to wave 14 on hard on map 10 only lose at the very end of wave 14. I took a shot from my iPhone of my setup so I wouldn't forget, I'd post it here but I don't know how to do it from my iPhone.
Issue with downloading new update Yeah I am experiencing same issue as many here when trying to update this game with the newest update. It installs to the 80-90 % range then says it cant be installed. Have tried it three times now and same thing every time. I dont want to delete game and install it as 1) i will prob. lose all my progress and 2) it may still not install right. If the developers are reading this thread on TA..plz look into this issue asap! Thanks
Same issue and concerns here. I'm also nervous about upgrading to ios7 later with this app causing some kind of roadblock.
The issue seems to be an incorrectly packaged delta update (I was able to download the entire .ipa with iTunes to my computer without issue) even though the OTA update from the app store failed every time as is being described. Once on my computer, just synced it over without a hiccup.
And here Update: and I lost all my progress. Fan flippin tastic.. Update 2: which also means I lost the hero I purchased lols
Yeah, I wound up deleting it and re-installing it (which worked just fine...) - so there's an issue updating over wi-fi (I'm guessing no one else had issues updating with an iTunes sync?)... Oh well... Guess I just get to re-experience the game from the beginning. =oP
Hi guys, my name is Jakub from Superhippo, I'm really sorry to hear that you are having problems with updating the game. Let me just quickly address some of the points you brought here: 1. Do not delete the game! Especially if you did not enable iCloud option, then you will loose the progress 2. If you had the iCloud enabled, then you will not loose your progress, even if you delete the game. Still, I don't recommend deleting the game as I don't think it's necessary - see the iTunes installation from C.Hannum post (thanks for that post, it really helps to narrow down the problem!) 3. Any inApp purchases that you have will not be lost. One of the conditions that needs to be fulfilled for the game with the inApp purchases to go through the review process is to have the 'Restore' functionality which you can use to restore your inApp purchases between different installations. 4. We are working hard to fix the update problems, although at this point we are not sure if the problem lays entirely on our side as obviously the update went through the review process successfully. I'll be monitoring this thread so please let me know if I can help. Once again, I'm very sorry to hear about this problems and I hope we will be able to sort it out for you asap.
