Ok thanks, I'll look for them I just noticed this stuff on map 9, if I replay some of the earlier maps will I have to replay each map over? I'm currently on map 10
Yup. I usually don't mind. But this was a huge reduction and way too fast. Anyways.... nice game still.
Finally completed all the levels on hard....any chance on more levels (or challenges on existing levels a la kingdom rush) devs? BTW to those who think this is a clone of KR it most certainly isnt (the Pilot and the ships cannon alone make a huge difference to the play style).
This was a great game for .99 cents. Reminded me of kingdom rush. Hope to c more games like this for good price
Map 9 - Start with one oil rig upgraded to flame / first tentacle / first meteor on the bottom left of the middle island (ships cannon and plane at the inlet) then I build a magic hut across from it (left island bottom right hand corner). I then build a few more towers in that region (another oil tower...a gunner - upgrade to harpooner etc) switching between upgrades and new towers... Hope this helps! The tactics I usually adopt on all maps is where near to the entry point I always have one oil rig with one magician (on a magic resistant map I would substute with a cannon or a shooter) and with those closer to my base would be (puffer fish or Missile Towers....as they can both strike far away)
Level 9 (Hard): One of the armored ships got past with a small bit of health, otherwise pretty easy. Level 10 I have a screen on easy but can't do it on hard with default hero.
Thanks for the help, your strategy worked( I lost 1 health) I've never thought to use the chemical towers like that before (I'll start using them more now, deadly when maxed out )now onto map 10 on hard, I REALLY like this game
Very nice, thanks for the tips. Would really appreciate any layout guides for 10, 11 & 12 also... 10 I found rock hard.
Actually scrap what I said, I just done 10 & 12 on hard with 4 lives left. Level 10 (Hard): I like to start and place the towers down immediately because the map is so large that you need fire on them throughout the map. After a couple waves buy 3 allies on both sides then start upgrading the reaper tower below ship. After that do the hydra tower and napalm at the bottom middle and fully upgrade these 3. After that is basically upgrading more reapers and getting death touch abilities. Level 11 (Hard): The key to this is basically the 3 napalm towers and 3 reaper towers. Once they are fully upgraded they offer great slow and massacre everything. Make sure to buy 3 allies to help with the fliers on wave 5 then start upgrading all towers on the top row. Level 12 (Hard): You want to focus immediately using your cannonballs to blow the barriers up starting with the bottom left because the water flow massively slows them down. After that you want you hydra towers upgraded with long range missiles to help against fliers and slow units. Get your allies out when the first fliers come and keep turning your ship to the appropriate direction and then finish off with upgrading reapers as the last waves are mainly armored. My Anchor Points:
These are very nice mate thanks for sharing. I also totally max out the turtle and the bombard in the tech tree. So much power when they are fully upgraded.
Congratulations! It's great to know that the game can be completed on Hard mode without buying the IAP heroes. What really astounds me is these armchair gamers that start to throw round terms like 'Paywalls' and 'IAP riddled' without even playing the game. Then you come along and basically make them look like fools. Well done and congrats to the devs for making a well balance game that gives you the option of IAP not forcing you to buy it
Has anyone maxed out their tech tree yet? I've maps 10-12 to finish & 6 slots left on my tech tree to fill out, unless the last 3 maps you receive more anchors on hard. I don't know if you can replay earlier levels on a different mode & recieve anchors? And thanks for the tips explosive
Thanks for the compliments, and as for the tech tree you can't max it out yet as it's 3 for each level so 3x12=36 anchors. Just checked the tree, you would need 66 to max everything.
The plan was to have more tech slots than anchors (for launch) so we can add more content that will unlock further anchors in future updates (new campaigns, new modes to play etc...).
