Apologies for the super delayed response. I think I might have exchanged emails with you or at least someone who was interested in portrait! I started with portrait mode and I agree it's a little more ergonomically convenient. I was having a hard time squaring the very landscape layout of the cards, but I haven't ruled it out. I'd also like to release on some consoles for fun and those tend to be very landscape in their aspect ratio!
Hey, yea that was me. Good news, it’s definitely a one-handed type of game! Hopefully you can work that out I was also thinking that since I ran out of items to buy, after awhile I lose incentive to keep playing because there is only so many points you can get until that lucky draw comes along. perhaps a tournament mode or rogue-like battle mode with tavern bosses or something could be fun! I’ve always loved poker battle rpg games, but they’re all gone now. I do love your game’s aesthetic and overall feel. And you did mention that you could add item descriptions as I would have no idea what I was buying. Thanks again for your communications and updates!
Hey folks, sorry for the delay, was wrapping up the game. I couldn't figure out portrait mode. You can tap and hold on items in the shop to hear their descriptions I'm excited to let you know the game is live now! ♣️♦️ I really appreciate the feedback and help along the way! https://www.pinetarpoker.com/
