How have you done it on your dads iPad? Have out bought them on his account? Or is your dads iPad using your own account?
You may not be a 'little kid' but its strange your dad doesn't have his own account. Sounds a strange setup. He should have his own account to pay for his own games. Think Apple did the right thing. If we all let our relatives or friends use our own iTunes account then devs wouod lose out a lot
This game, the outside buttons control the flippers and the joystick is used to pull the plunger. Works pretty good on the icade core joystick.
last "update" completely messed up STTNG, which is currently unplayable... and they changed that trippy space carpet with some ugly and dirty industrial floor... man, i loved that carpet! good news: space shuttle scores are getting finally saved
Is the right flipper dying at random what you mean by STTNG being broken or are there even more issues (not that an inconsistently working flipper isn't already a deal breaker).
yeah, they moved the trigger button to the lower right (which is btw. also a bad position for a trigger intense game like TNG), but forgot to move the correspondig hitbox with it (which leaves a big invisible deadzone) unfortunately this isnt enough: the repositioned button now also triggers right flipper, which affects mission selection well ok, no big deal, plenty of other tables around. but its annyoing how they manage it to make things repeatedly worse... just look at the floor: where is the improvement in that!? that issue could be easily avoided by playtesting the table for about 2min (or even sending out a fast bug-fix afterwards)... which they didnt
New update with centaur and pinbot. Unfortunately I updated and now crashes when trying to play any table. Tried everything short if deleting and reinstalling. Not ready to do that just yet. Update: works fine on iPad mini. Still having problems with iPhone 5
Apparently this issue is affecting a lot of people, but Farsight are already working on an update to address it. Haven't had any trouble at all on my iPad, though, fortunately.
Disappointed Man, I just dropped $40 on the season 2 pass (bought all season 1 tables previously) and now every single table crashes. How do I request a friggin refund?
Surprisingly by contacting the devs if not Apple for a refund Also just read above your post. Seems to be a bug. An update is coming. Mine does the same. I'm sure it'll be fixed very soon
Thanks for reassuring me that it will be patched. I sure hope it is soon. I need my pinball arcade next week as I have to travel and its the only thing that takes my mind off the turbulence and crashing to a fiery death. Loved the other tables so much that I thought throwing down $40 was a no brainier. I guess I can resort to my gameprom and zen tables if necessary.
I'm hoping it won't take long. Shame this has happened. Like you I miss the tables as I had them all. Here's to a quick update (I hope)
new update fixed STTNG... trigger position (top right) is also much better now! does anyone understand "season two pack" buying option? it says all packs from 11-20 are included... but current pack is 14, so do they want "season" buyers to pay for 11-13 twice? also they want get packs pre-payed, but don't reveal which tables are going to be included? well, no thanks...
Table packs 11-13 are part of Season Two, so if you bought those packs individually prior to this sale, you'll technically be paying for them twice, yes. However, Farsight have had this to say on the matter:
thanks... well, thats fair enough (although it would be much wiser to introduce such a system at the beginning of a "season") new tables are very well done (couldn't find any major glitch)... pin*bot plays rather on the easy side, while centaur gives you a great challenge (as pinball gameplay should be) all together, a fine update... except for that floor texture!
Everything seems to be working now. Not keen on the main menu with the buttons for season 1 or 2. But the new tables are great. Again it's a fine collection of tables. About 30 now I think
