I'm still not sure I catch your meaning here. The game would not start the multiball modes properly or there would still be multiple balls on screen and the game would just resume as if only 1 ball again and ignore the rest of the balls still out in the field?
It gives an extra ball when there should only be one ball in play. Or sometimes the ball just disappears and the game presumes the ball ist still there. Sorry for the bad explanation,let's just say it's a big mess.
That is messed up. I haven't seen this myself yet on my iPad 3 but, must admit, I'm not a great player, so maybe this is something that occurs late in a game? As soon as I see it, and I'm sure I will if this blatant, I will gladly confirm this find with you.
^Same here, i'm a 'casual' pinball player. Never used to be into pinball games but this app has changed my view. I'm not great, had the odd good long game on Pinball Arcade but love the way its recreated the tables, have all of them so like having a go on them, enjoy the variety.
Can anyone confirm this? I just pressed to play Theatre of Magic and POOF!!!!! My device just disappeared!!!!!!!!!....Oh well guess I'll have to wait for an update to get it back
GUILTY as charged!!!! I actually had to do a reset after the last update and all games are working fine!
Must admit i really like the app BUT its a pain when theres an update to the app as you then have to download each table pack again. Not a showstopper or that but a bit frustrating.
Yes to DL each game again and again is kind of a pain but I just do it now without even thinking much of it Still wish I didn't have to sign in as a guest since I've bought almost every game except for the last two expansion packs.....probably will get them all though
Didnt think you had to sign in as a guest now ? I've got a login now for the leaderboards (must admit dont pay much attention to those). Its great how many tables there are now. Off to a big retro show in England next weekend which will have a large pinball section, be good to see some of the actual tables there which are in the app. Its great how many tables have been added so far
Perhaps I should do a login.... Yes I still login as guest! That retro show sounds great! Buy a couple of tables...one for you and the other just ship it to Canada! Hope they continue to add more tables to this app....hoping for Star Trek since Star Command is nowhere in the App Store
As I stated earlier, I don't mind this too much BUT wish they'd make it clear which table has been updated (and maybe even a quick summation of the fixes if not too much bother) right there at it's entry on the Main Menu (like where they say "Buy" for new tables). As every update doesn't touch each table, just give me a ways to know which tables on my rig have a new version waiting. If say, Theater of Magic has a new update but I really don't care at the moment, so be it, this message could remain there at the table selection until the next time I choose to play that table.
I'm sure they did a kickstarter for Star Trek which they managed to complete, so at some point i'm sure that'll be coming.
Perhaps the word "Update" in neon smack dab in front of each table that requires an update The only problem is the lettering is so obtrusive you can't even see which table is which....
Yeah, this update is messed up. I just played 2 games of Funhouse and they both had screwy situations where it did multiballs when it shouldn't have. And when one ball drained it went to the "no ball in play" view before you pulled the plunger. Sadly, this is not surprising at this point. Someone needs to take charge of the QA at Farsight. I can't believe I gave these clowns $100+ dollars to make Twilight Zone and STNG.
Alrighty, after a game of Funhouse that went perfectly fine, my next game was bat shoot crazy! Even with the launching of the very first ball, two more balls were auto-launched from either side right behind it. No reason for the extra balls and it certainly wasn't in a multiball mode. Now with 3 balls on the playfield, at random intervals a ball would disappear and a new ball would be launched in its place, all the while the game is behaving as if it is just normal single ball play.
I think I said just a few posts ago that this game and various tables were working fine.....I take it back..things are not working as good as they used to
