Bit of a pain but i basically deleted it from my ipod touch 4th gen (white icon), reinstalled it and the icon is now fine. Just had to download each table, a pain but the icons fine now A great collection of tables, still dont like the facebook stuff (i always click on 'play as guest') but loving the tables.
I updated on my ipad1 and immediately rebooted and icon is fine. I had a problem on my 4s with the last update where Voltaire wouldn't load at all. I deleted the app and reinstalled and it worked perfectly. Monster Bash is great other that the Frankenstein multi ball issue, but flipping before the camera zooms in on him seems to work for now. I didn't buy Ripleys or Black Hole so I don't know what other issues or bugs are in those tables, but the rest of them are fantastic!
Here with my iPad1 erverything is fine while playing the tables. The only problem are the missing instructions on the two new tables, so i do not exactly what to do for the best score, but i think farsight will fix it. Even without instructions Monster Bash is a real cool table. Also Gorgar is nice, it is a table i have never seen before. I think it is a good mixture between one new and one old table in one update. So i am waiting for more tables and having fun until the next release.
Sounds like Farsight has a patch ready to fix the multi ball camera issue and Gorgar's leader boards and Apple's going to fast track it in the next 24 hours. Please prepare the next reason to gnash your teeth.
Nice! I still cut them a little slack for juggling so many balls in the air at the same time platformwise...but it doesn't make it hurt any less when they goof on YOUR platform. Save these nasty bugs for, I don't know, the PS3 crowd or something (as if bugs are something the developers add in intentionally to their products ).
You can't see the flippers? I had a second camera bug in Frankenstein multiball. I can see only the flippers, the left one works, the right one not. If only one ball of the multiball is left it turns back to normal view.
That switch to plunger view bug has been around for a while and not just in Monster Bash (though I haven't run into it in Monster Bash yet myself).
Why are they trying to raise for ST:TNG? That has to be harder and more expensive to license than Addam's Family Gold I realize ST is rated higher on the IPDB (just barely) but it has to be a lot more expensive considering the IP than something that only had one TV show many years ago and a movie. Get TAF:G first then I'll donate to ST:TNG. Seems like they're doing this backwards.
They should remove the free app forever and let "paid" version stay free. So there would be no confusion about the different versions and updates would have been easier and maybe faster.
Farsight went for ST: TNG pinball because the liscenses were with the same company (i think cbs) as twilight zone (as well as the same price). Since they negotiated twilight zone, they had easy access to ST: TNG. After the recent liscensing conference they went to, Farsight teased they had access to an important liscense that people want....they didnt say who, but everyone guesses its Adams family. Apparently, the people behind TAF thought Farsight was too small fries to bother with...there was just not enough money for them to bother...so they thought....and then the most recent kickstarter hit....apparently whetted TAF liscense people's appetites enough to get them talking. Now, I need to reiterate that the preceding story may not necessarily be TAF, but the overall story is what farsight said on their facebook page, though they wouldnt say which liscense it was with.
The only way i got round this was to delete the app and then download it again, then obviously click on each table to download it. Bit annoying i know but it gets rid of the white icon.
Why do I have to login via Facebook to enter the Leaderboards? Why not implement Gamecenter? Is this Zuckerbergs game?
They have said that GC is coming in a future update. I actually would prefer if they used some cross-platform system, though, (but not Facebook), as I have friends that have Androids and such. Would like to be able to compete with them too. Still, I'll take GC over Facebook any day (and I like Facebook, just not as a high score system for this game).
I just wish the game would take "Login as Guest" once and not ask me again every time I start the app.
