No where in the app description does it say 2 a month. It clearly says each month. They've been saying a table a month since beta testing started. Honestly, where do you people come up with this crap. Do you just spew random bs out of your mouth for no reason at all? Defaming devs with false information shouldn't be tolerated and I believe the posts should be deleted.
Calm down dear ! In their app description they say.. "Each month regular updates will add classics like Monster Bash, Medieval Madness, Creature from the Black Lagoon, Funhouse etc..... So not being picky but it sounds like we might get at least 2 pinball tables a month or they would say every month there will be an update or new table. Think you have to calm down, we all love the app, just looking forward to more tables thats all.
sorry, but to read the statement you quoted above and leap to the conclusion that it means "at least two tables per month" is laughable. They listed a bunch of tables they plan to release in the future and the fact that they are shooting for some sort of monthly release schedule but theres not a hint of a suggestion that implies two per month - nor does it indicate they were ready to start monthly releases of new tables immediately.
I find nudging to be quite responsive to me nudging my phone... In portrait and landscape mode, giving the phone a strong tap on the side will translate into a nudge in the game. Shaking the device have proven to be inaccurate, so I'm going to give up on that.
The graphics run great on 360, but still don't know how it would be on iOS (hope it will match on iPad 3 soon).
It runs great already on iPad 2. It runs well on my iPhone 4 too as far as I've been able to tell, but I mostly play on my iPad 2. I'll buy both of the DLC machines, but Bride of Pinbot isn't really a very good game (not that it's terrible, but it's certainly not one of the great ones), and Medieval Madness we've had before in PHoF, albeit not on iOS of course.
Not a very good table? There's certainly many pinball players who would highly disagree with that. I know I definitely would. Bride of pinball is a well rated table and a favorite to many.
I'm just glad theres two new tables to download, love Pinball Arcade already, be great to have a collection of tables once they start adding more and more to it. Hopefully these two new tables will be released soon
There is nothing to indicate that. I think you may have been confused by him talking about playing the real pinball games the tables are based on either in an arcade or through a previous Farsight console release (one of the Pinball Hall of Fame games released on multiple platforms like Wii and PSP).
Yeah i can see where the confusion is but the tables arent out yet, on the Farsight twitter account they talk about coming soon but theyre not out. Hopefully perhaps on the wednesday release point, but again theres nothing concrete yet.
It's not a BAD table but it is somewhat one-dimensional, with only two major shots to master (Heartbeat and Shuttle ramps), the silliness of the Billion Point Shot, and a random factor on the Big Wheel that skews high scores.
Exactly. Also due to the rotating face, which is cool, taking up so much of the playfield, it's really only got an effectively tiny playfield, and the shots are all the same distance away and the only ones that matter anyway are the left ramp and the center ramp (for the most part). Mind you, I have had fun with it in spite of all that, but it's certainly not one of the best. And yes, I was talking about the real machine. The DLC is not out yet. Farsight said it would *probably* be out at the same time that Pinball Arcade is released for consoles, which is late March.
Anyone else experiencing a lack of multi-tasking on ios5.1? I was playing a game, put my phone down and have it set to turn off after 5 minute and unlocked the screen to find that it went back to main page. Started the app and my in progress game was gone.
