Finally! That was tricky, but finally made it, not sure if I'm still in the running...can't find a way to submit my screen shot, though. Update: Clicked on the hyperlink to send you an email, that took me to the website and I wrote an email and submitted my photos there.
That was hell of a puzzle, but I have completed it! Sent a PM with proof. BTW. How many people completed puzzle at the time being besides us two?
Congrats! Code has been DMed to you! There are still several codes left. The 128x128 puzzles are quite ridiculous. This particular puzzle, when testing, took me several days to complete. You guys are doing it a lot faster than I expected!
I have done it for three days and when 1/3 of puzzle left I just turned on good music and it went smoothly, I played for 3 hours straight though
Now if I can figure out how move a block of 2 squares to another color part, I would be done too. Been driving me batty! Of course be nice to have a save state to fall back on vs total start from scratch for such a large puzzle!
It is almost never necessary to restart a whole puzzle. There is no penalty for drawing lines wrong and you can easily erase them and try again, or unhook them from either end and just redraw a tiny bit of it. Even when you have painted yourself in a corner we have found that almost always the culprit (the wrongly drawn line that is causing this problem for you) is within a screen's area, usually. We found that sometimes it just doesn't seem possible. The best thing to do then is to leave the puzzle for a bit, play another one, and revisit it with a clear head. Very often have I myself seen a solution immediately when revisiting a puzzle after a while, after having spent a long time trying to noodle it before. The brain is weird that way.
Brightsiderus is correct. There are some promo codes left, so as long as there are the competition is open! I assumed it would take people a while to wrap their heads around one of these massive puzzles.
Finally. Took forever to find where the lines didn't connect to find the last place not connected. Yes I know about the mini picture can zoom to but on a picture of this size it took a lot of scrolling, putting back the connected piece that became unconnected, etc. Thanks, great contest.
Congrats! I sent you the code in reply to your email! Enjoy! Haha, yeah, at 128x128 it becomes a little ridiculous.
