As fantastic as the touch and accellerometer is, it would still be nice with some oldschool steering for some games. So It got me thinking and I'm sure I'm not the first one, when will we se the first clip on physical gamepad for the iphone/touch? Is it even possible, I mean, is the ipone open for external add on devices? Its not hard to imagine how great it would make the platform, giving all the games that benefits from physical button presicion their real potential. I imagine a device similar looking to the psp, where you simply slide the touch/phone into a slot with a square gap for the screen.. Apart from the buttons and steering cross it might also house -additional memory, as games will be BIG eventually.. -more batterypower, rechargeble of course -proper rumble pac -better speakers -tv out... like the first games where the console was the gamepad.. -more? whats your thoughts on this, will we see it... soon... ever? EDIT: Ok, so I found the accessories segment and the articles about the iControlPad, and it's looking great! .
