Ok it worked I want to play them in order so whats the correct over and also is there anyway my gf can have her own game save as she wants to play too which will not mess with mine?
I paid like $90 for these three games on the DS years ago (or maybe more). - I love these games and felt it worth all of my $90. I guess I'll give them $5 more just so I can "own" them again on my Ipad even though I'll likely never play it again. Ah dang - and then I think I'm going to spend another $30 and get the Phoenix Wright: Dual Destinies for my 3DS. It will be so worth it.
I'm impressed how long is the second episode so the first game :O I think it is bigger than some games like Sorcery. All titles purchased
Same here. Keep getting timed out message. [EDIT] Tried for couple of hours and finally succeeded in purchase. Man~ I'm glad.
I was able to just purchase them with no errors. I'm excited to play these. Anyone have an estimation on total time to beat them all?
People estimate about 30 or 40 hours. I've played the second chapter of the first game and it's pretty long. Longer than some whole games on App Store.
I finished them all from the iOS version. Took me around 45 hours. This is honestly one of the greatest adventure games in our time. But to get deep into the story, you have to like the characters and have the patience to read hours and hours of dialog. What's even greater is that all 3 games are connected in the main storyline. For $5, this has to be one of the best deals in the App Store in 2013. For all people complaining about the sale: The game came out years and years ago on GBA and DS, and Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney came out for the iPhone in 2010, and the rest of the trilogy in 2013, so it's about damn time they make a sale on it. In fact, I truly hope this sale blows sales up, so Capcom sees the light and give us Apollo Justice and Dual Destinies for iOS.
The more I play they more I like! And I'm still on the second episode of the first game! I feel bad for having misjudged this game based on the first episode all this time...
Bought and I'm still on Episode 2. Dang, this game is worth more than every cent i Paid in this sale!
Very briefly, it's a story / "visual novel" game where you proceed through the tale, acquire objects (evidence) and use them at proper times to continue the story by presenting the proper evidence to contradict the testimony being presented at the time. Each story tends to have a "tutorial" level or two, and the story don't really build up until the later cases of each game. So getting the first two episodes for free doesn't really give a fair representation of the game - the cases get more complex, and it doesn't hold your hand throughout the ENTIRE game.
Thanks for the explanation. That really helped me decide. The other thing that confused me, not knowing anything about the series otherwise, was that everyone was talking about the 3 episodes, and there are 3 IAP's which I thought represented those episodes -- only I thought you got the first two for free and what you were purchasing was the other three. NO! What you get for free are the first two "levels/cases" in a five-level/case game, and there are three *games* in total, each of which consists of five levels/cases. When I had looked briefly at a walkthrough online, to get a better idea of what the game was like, I didn't realize I was only looking at the walkthrough for the first game and it's five levels/cases. There are two separate walkthroughs of equal length for the other two IAPs. So when you buy the trilogy, you're getting 15 "cases" (5 each) from three separate games. So yeah, that's a deal!
I didn't pick it up at full price only because I own all DS versions but for $5 you are crazy to pass up on this as they are some of the best I've ever played. I can see why they might not be for some people but at least you can play the first trial from the first game to get a feel for it.
