I really, really wish Capcom would have taken the enhancements found in this title and used them when they put the HD trilogy together. That aside, not a misstep to be found here.
Agree this should be 5 stars. ._. Come on it's Phoenix wright. If corpse party gets 5 stars I'll be mind blown
This uses their 3D engine that utilizes polygons rather than sprites "specifically" for the 3DS but the engine includes codes to make compatible with other systems as well (multiple resolution support, etc like Play Store have packages for resolutions and processors).
That's why they are working on street fighter 4 Arena, the same game of 4 years ago! Pathetic Capcom.
So I got both games and bought IAP for the travel! I hope it doesn't require an interenet connection! Someone in the thread mentioned AA4! What's that?
No idea what this is but given all the praise here I'm downloading to try the free part of the game at least to see what I'm missing.
Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney, which came after the original Phoenix Wright trilogy and before this, but hasn't been released on iOS. The TA review of this game sums it up pretty well.
Ace Attorney games are sort of visual novels with gameplay elements like moving between places, meeting people, gathering evidence and cross examination. They are quite wordy but very entertaining with hilarious dialogues, tense courtroom battles and interesting characters.
Generally, yes. I only played the first two games but AFAIK in the Phoenix Wright/Ace Attorney games you either get the "puzzles" (the courtroom scenes etc.) right or you don't, and it doesn't change where the story goes. There are no branching paths. You either keep going or you fail and try again.
IIRC the last case of the first AA (Rise from the ashes) has a bad end if you fail to pick a certain choice earlier. But general these games don't have multiple routes. I don't know about AA5 though, so far it seems the same as the others.
