It's just like the 3DS there is the main story set for $15 and a DLC special story for $5. You can also buy costumes or the episodes individually.

Is the special episode included on the main story set?

No it's separate, it's like a side story it doesn't belong with the main story.

Well that was quick. Does anyone know the full length of the game with all the IAP? And general size?

    Edit: damn ios 6.1?? .... not 6.0..

Well, Im still playing Justice for All, so I won't buy Dual Destinies before finishing Trials and Tribulations unless it goes on a sale.

To put it in perspective the game is $15 cheaper on iOS then on the 3DS so it's pretty much on sale already. And on the 3DS it was downloadable only no physical copies. So basically it's half off and this is not an old game either. I think it's a steal. I'm still debating on whether I will purchase it on iOS or 3DS . But definitely finish Trials and Tribulations first :)

The game is free so you can dl it to try the first chapter. Thanks for the info though! However I'm ios6 so I don't think I can get it to install. Bummer.

I'm not complaining about the price, I won't buy it now only because I won't play it now. I have a pretty big backlog already. But I would buy it anyway in case of a sale.

I know I just don't see it going on sale. Enjoy Trial and Tribulations, definitely finish that first! :)

Without purchasing the extra content it's 541mb installed. Not sure if it downloads the content when you purchase the other chapters. Sorry you can't install it! That stinks :(

That explains why you would have a hard time finding physical copies. So yeah, don't be disappointed if you go on eBay or Amazon and can't find a 3DS cart. Anyway, I just got on the eShop on my 3DS, and his story matches up. Phoenix Wright Dual Destinies is listed on the eShop as $29.99, as opposed to $14.99 in the iOS app fo the all chapters unlock. Furthermore, the extra case is a dollar more on the eShop. So expect to save $16 by buying it on iOS over buying it on the 3DS.

I appreciate the thought :) . I'm waiting for the ip6 then I can play everything! I do hope this game turns out as good as it looks as I loved the HD AA set. It was 95% perfect imo. Capcom has done well with ports lately so I have confidence in them. Namco, Konami, etc have been disappointing lately. So I'll forgive the ios 6.1 requirement :)
