Third that. Having one map for a game seemed small, but after playing for a while, I realize the enormity of the map. Btw you spelled volunteer, volunter in "About." Also, I still don't have any sound past the initial Spearhead Games screen and the video at the beginning plays blackness. Really like the new cleanse effect though. It almost has a life of its own.
After playing sometime, I love this one better than beta 2. But the world is too small, playing few minutes and the explorer% already 9%.
When you fill out the survey please include your estimated game time together with %items and %explored. It is a little misleading since you will revisit some areas
Oh, yes. If it wasn't apparent before you guys are allowed to post anything you want from this beta... and previous betas too. Just wanted to get it out there since some betas like to hold an embargo on their testers. Also this latest build is most likely going to be the review build we send out to other iphone sites so if you want to get ahead you guys can write previews before the big guys do! If you're a reviewer please hold off on the review until the 17th of May when the game will be released. If you are a part of the press then please throw an e-mail to us at [email protected]. You can also use my mail which is [email protected]. Might be easier to type info though... For the people who aren't you can still help us out by spreading the word!
woot bout like 64% going to take a break and submit a survey even though the whole game is one map, it reminds me of metriod and how you have to backtrack to old maps to get items that were once unreachable due to the lack of the required powerup
Thank you everyone for all feedback we've recieved up until now for the third beta. The pricing of Phoenix Spirit will start at $.99! Glad you are enjoying the game! That completed % is highly remarkable! Don't be discouraged , the % keeps racking up fast in the beginning, but as Kawe said, you'll need to backtrack areas later to find all small secrets we've hidden.
We have localized the problem: Apparently the iPhone / iPod video player crashes for some reason, dragging the Unity sound engine down with it. Can you tell me what device you are using? We have also discussed a few solutions to this problem, but nothing is written in stone yet. Edit: okay, everyone that has this problem seems to have second Gen iTouches, one step closer to the root of problems, thank you guys
Sorry I haven't been around, I've got some work to do until monday, I'll definitely do a good test on the 3rd beta then. Cheers.
I got the Phoenix Dive and tried using the Haste button to smash rocks. I never smashed those rocks. Instead I smashed straight through the floor. Now my map is stuck at the location I was in before I fell through the floor. I can wander on aimlessly (I think) like I'm in a different dimension without enemies, plants, or foliage on the walls. Just plain background, walls, and floor. When I smashed into the floor in the underground sometimes greyish white sparks would fly up. I'm almost out of the golden bar now. I would call this a major glitch since I'm completely stuck in the underground and can't get back without a way to resume my game from the last save. I covered a lot of ground too which I would lose. It's more funny than frustrating actually. Edit: I found murky water and it does no harm to me. I can swim right through it.
