Fired up WiFi and tried accessing my high scores. All of them showed completely NO local high scores and I only see myself being 200th+ in my country for Trinity (I wasn't identified at all for the other ships in my region), and the score isn't even accurate (Shows 2 million+ while my best ever was 4 million+) I have definitely played the other ships but no position appeared in my country or anywhere else in the world. (Just showed me a general world map with no focus on any country) What's happening? I have NEVER deleted the game from my iTouch, so shouldn't ALL my local scores be saved and preserve, ready to be uploaded? AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait for the new update to come out and buy the new Phantom!!!! Bravo Selachii! Now let's go and pressure those Apple ****ers to get this update up ASAP.
Well the location is determined when you set a score, if there is no internet connection it will just be flagged as 'world'. I still see the same amount of scores in your profile so I'm not sure if everything was uploaded. Play a session with internet enabled (if you hadn't) and keep it running of a while. In theory, all your scores are stored until they can be uploaded to our servers yes
Sooooooo, while we sit and attempt to patiently await the Phantom update, I was wondering, Mr. Drijver, what your plans are for any other future updates, specifically if this delightful pattern of adding a new ship every six months will continue. I personally think ten ships is a beautifully round number to end at and of course ship #7 would be just excellent with the addition of the tooth paste laser Of course I know you are in full agreement on all points, but please, indulge me Also, I am a fan of the enemy vessel that takes up the entire screen which appears sporadically and somewhat rarely (not sure of the name or a better way to describe it since I am not currently looking at it for reference, but it would definitely be the 'boss' off the game). It would be cool to see another enemy like this that takes up the whole screen. It is enjoyable to fight such a large target and also gives some contrast from the typical pattern of the game.
Does anyone find that the yellow background (which is the third background that appears and does not last long) looks 'washed out' compared to the other, darker backgrounds?
We might do something tooth-paste laser-like in the future, who knows The whole bendable lasers thing is something we will inevitably visit at some point. All backgrounds are technically treated the same way. So if one looks different than the others than that should be (in theory) because it was made this way The yellow background is a lot brighter than the others though, so it's easier to see certain detail that the dark ones hide. With regards to updates, we plan Phoenix updates as we go along, we're not forcing ourselves to work on a ship at a specific time. In terms of planned updates, the next one will probably be to adjust Phoenix HD to work with whatever iOS7 throws at us (We can see 2 iPhones running iOS 7 playing Phoenix HD in Cupertino )
Whatever and however you guys update Phoenix HD, I have dedicated myself a fan of the game already. Cheers for a great game, and one that just improves and evolves as time goes by.
I just know that a toothpaste laser done by you guys would look fantastic. I also think I like the darker backgrounds better because it tends to outline the bullets. No biggy, especially since this background only lasts for a few minutes.

Oh my f-ing GOD... I don't know what to say... EDIT: This is f-ing ridiculous. That's what I have to say. El, you are probably going to get really sick of me really fast (even more sick of me than usual) since I am going to be playing this for the next week and sitting on this thread proclaiming my love for you and that invisible programmer you have tucked away over there. This is an evolutionary hybrid of the precision/focus from the Shogun, the firepower of the Nightfury Laser from the Mirage (I would say stage THREE even) and a slicker rendition of the time shifting capabilities from the Trinity. Do I even need to say more? Yes, I do, since it's now official: My favorite shooter of all time. Be back on tonight. People, DOWNLOAD THIS UPDATE NOW.

Totally agree with sumosplash. Phantom is a beast, but the one-hit death will demand a lot from you, and you have to maximize the use of ghost mode to survive. As with the previous versions, the game plays with fantastic controls and pixel precision. Definitely one of the best games on thhe appstore, and the update guarantees it'll be played more and more.
