About a month ago I invited you to help me with my PhD studies. I warmly thank all of you, who answered my call and acted as beta testers for my research design. Now it's time for round two, and I really am at a tight spot: last week I heard my idea was accepted to a big international conference! Jippii!!, but: the daedline for a full paper is April 30th, and my empirical data is still kind of thin! That's why I repeat my invitation. (From the signature below you can download a pdf with some more info on the project)

I have already contributors from Australia, Europe and the USA. Some of you are experienced and quite successful developers, others just beginning or something in between. My oldest informant is 40+ and youngest in his teens. I now invite any indie developer to join, but would especially welcome those from Asia, Africa, Latin America or the Nordic countries. At the moment I am mainly looking for game developers, but also other app developers can volunteer for reference. If you are working as a team, I'd love to get answers from all of you.

What do I expect from you?
There are four tasks you should complete (an option for a fifth task later in the summer or fall). You work on the tasks on your own computer, and submit them online. To participate you should be able to draw, write and record audio on your computer/iDevice. Each task will take about 1 h to complete. You are not asked to reveal any "trade secrets" or anything else that would be harmful for you, and you keep copyrights to any material you submit in this project.

What can you expect in return?
I'll buy a copy of your app :), after all, I should know what you are working on! To be serious, I know that the price of one app download is not enough to compensate the time you'd put into this. I will of course send each informant a summary of the results. But what else? I'm contemplating on arranging a Thank you -webinar with a successful indie developer as a keynote speaker. Or something. Do you have any suggestions? What would be a good incentive?

    How to proceed?
PM me your email, and I'll sen you an invitation to a Dropbox-folder where your first Task is waiting for you.

Hope to hear from you soon!
