Yes it is portrait only. I can only support one or the other for the time being since I will be paying an artist to do the UI art. Sorry; I realize this is not what you were hoping to hear. And I submitted the build to Apple for TestFlight testing, not final release. Still a ways off from that, not the least of which will be getting in some non-programmer art.
Ah, ok. Didn't realize that TestFlight involved Apple at all (hence the confusion). I prefer landscape to portrait, but will deal with it. Thanks!
I tried to send feedback via test flight but I got an undeliverable message. The new orientation and layout is great! By the reign and coin amounts are blocked by the symbols, is that on purpose? I can't see how many I have
I can see the reign and coin amounts fine- using an iphone 6 plus. Played for a bit and kicked the tires. Went ahead and allowed my game in limbo to lose. Really like the statistics screen. I also like that the almanac now shows which card type each card is. "embalming" is misspelled for the queen mummy.
This game is really coming along. No matter how many times I play and what advice I read on this thread I can't get past Wall building.
Thanks for asking! I'm working with an artist to get some non-programmer-art into the game currently. After a few rounds of going back and forth on design, the final art is starting to roll in, albeit slowly, since it's just one person. But it's looking great! Here are some samples:
This looks fantastic! Man I can't wait to play the finished product. I still fire his up regularly, but I have yet to get past a chamber. I'm not giving up though....
Update! Art continues to roll in from our awesome artist. We are about halfway through the illustration and colorizing the cards. He's a new dad, so it's slow going, but it's also kind of cool that I'll be able to list a "production baby" in the game's credits! Here are some art samples of some of the new cards: Astute readers will notice that we've changed the title font - the last font was cool, but it just wasn't as readable as we liked, so we went with a more legible font face, and I think it's an improvement.
