Hey. I've downloaded the app twice and it needs to download extra data right away for some reason? It never loads properly and just crashes. I'm using an iPod Touch 5th generation.
Players are at the mercy of developers when a game "requires internet". When the developer decides to shut down the server for a particular game, that game and any invested time and money are gone as well. This has become all too obviously lately as several game servers have been shut down. It's understandable that people are becoming disgruntled with online only games.
Somewhat enjoy the game but Freemium pricing is pretty steep. The premium currency, Lazuli, runs $1 each. Also, when a character gets knocked out, it breaks their equipment. Repairing equipment is rather costly, 3k gold for a 50% chance of success for a 3* or 15k for 90 % (best available) Failure means item lost. Ultimately, this is one of those step freemium gams. It's a shame because it's a simplified turn based strategy game that has potential.
