Oh wow, never expect that. I have both so I am too happy to well, ignore the "difference"! Kudo to the developer!!!
Looks great, cant wait to try the update I LOVE Vector games, just look stunning, hope there'll be another game in the future.
Was looking forward to checking out PewPew 2, but based on the initial reviews mentioning crashes and the info referring to sound issues, I guess I'd better hold off. Good luck with the update.
New update! Hey guys, just wanted to let you know I did a new update on PewPew 2, and it's a biggy: A 3rd (long) campaign (and the Game Center achievements that comes with it), 3 new (and faster) ships, and a lot of small improvements all over the place. For instance, you can now manually position the joysticks and set their size, which is a big win for the iPad version The 3rd campaign is really the best I did, so enjoy!
!!! Thats it! I just deleted PewPew 1! And promptly bought PewPew 2. =D And I'm so sorry..PewPew 1 is one of my few favorite iOS games and for some reason I never bought PewPew 2. At least I corrected the mistake a bought the second one right now. I love how you keep updating both games despite it being such an old game (in ios terms), and how you never dropped PewPew 2 down to free. To me, PewPew 1 & 2 the #1 space dual stick shooter, and tied for #1 if I include the other 3 of my favorite DSS. It has the perfect controls to me, and its totally customizable. The few levels of campaign I tried is fun. It actually feels like a campaign, and not the normal modes thrown together. The graphics isn't flashy to the point the action gets lost. And the difficulty can be nail biting hard, but not in the cheap death sort of way. Anyways, looking forward to completing the campaign on all 3 difficulties. =D
iPad Retina display Good news, the PewPew on the App Store is already iPad Retina display ready (I just tested it in the emulator of the Retina-iPad).
