I played this for the first time last night, and was really impressed with the fun factor and superb controls!

Yes!!! I've been waiting for the update for so long! I've always loved PewPew, but never had an excuse to play it again until now. I've faithfully kept it on my iTouch, though! I've never deleted it, just waiting for this update. Keep up the blog!
Ah yes, I am really sorry about that The difficulty of the modes have changed quite a bit, so the old scores would not really mean anything compared to the one you do with the new version. In "Dodge this", you can now have much higher scores, while in "Assault", the difficulty has been increased.
This game is so much fun I'm downloading it now! My friend showed it to me in school. I don't know why he knew about and i didn't. does this have openfeint?
Just to let everyone knows that if you like GW and has yet to get this, you are missing something great. Very busy at work place today but still cannot help but posting this after give a 5-star review at local Store. This is not sufficient to show my love to this game, and I am looking forward to the prequel: "Pew"...

First try? That's pretty incredible. I have a friend that has been playing for hours on my ipod (during the development), and he's never managed to score that much. Sorry for bumping up such an old thread... Thanks for the update! Love the new mode. Gotta give props to a dev that keeps updating even such an old, game that they made free! It's coming Don't worry, Asteroids is included in PewPew 2; Apple approved it a couple hours after PewPew 1 Unfortunately I messed up the update for PewPew 2: there is no sound! I just submitted an other update that corrects this. Hope I can get TouchArcade to post a story about the update. Here's a video of the new game mode. I know, it's incredibly blurry.
