This is the heart of the matter. This whole petition is a selfish drive under the guise of "fairplay" and is no better than begging for codes outright.
Now that I think about it I'm kinda torn between which side to take because on one side I'm annoyed at lurkers when they take a code for a game I really wanted, but people have made good points saying that the devs wanted anyone to have access to a code and everyone is equal whether they are a member or not. So for now I think I'm going back to the neutral zone.
It would already suffice if the "Promo & Contest" thread, only for registered members is visible. I think the problem lies with the many unregistered visitors, who take the codes! That's why there is no contribution (thanks, used .... code)!
