Solarclipse Well-Known Member Jul 30, 2012 879 64 28 #11 Solarclipse, Dec 17, 2015 So first off, this isn't a game. It's more of a short film. You can click on points which move the story forward and are clearly labeled, and then there are optional points to click on that will bring some commentary. The graphics and music are excellent, very nice atmosphere and world building. The story is very blade runneresque...so not breaking new ground, but if it were fleshed out and lengthened, with the animation and sound quality it could be a compelling experience. So...this is an art "game." It's not 30 minutes, more like 5-10. That said if there were more of it I would pay a little more...maybe this is just someone experimenting for something bigger. I hope so because on its own its...too short. Just when you get into it, it's over...but that's why I would say it's like a short film...just 16 bit instead of mm! Adsinjapan Well-Known Member Aug 7, 2013 181 0 0 #12 Adsinjapan, Dec 17, 2015 I don't know where I stand with this game, as its clearly one of those divisive kind of situations. I've been waiting for this for a while now, as I was blown away by the pure cyberpunkishness and wonderful pixel art. I do love this for what it is, an inexpensive short story that's been expertly crafted. The love is there for sure. It is as most have pointed out, a very short experience however, running at 30 mins for its first play through. I really hope Peter Moorhead works on this concept further, as Murder could have easily been fleshed out to an 90 minutes and it would have only made it all the better. I can't call it a short story. A poem has more scripted dialog. This is a teaser for something bigger, or rather I hope it does lead there eventually. Throw a few dollars at this, knowing you'll be done in 30 minutes and you should be fine. If anything, the game introduces you to some solid music at least. Take a pinch of salt with you when you purchase and you'll do fine. kulhy Member Sep 15, 2015 5 0 1 #13 kulhy, Dec 17, 2015 iPhone plz Porsupah Well-Known Member Oct 4, 2008 132 1 0 http://www.ringtail.com/ #14 Porsupah, Dec 17, 2015 Even with the caveats expressed, I suppose I've got to see what this is like. I'm always up for some nudging of the boundaries, and for such a trifling entrance fee, it'd almost be churlish not to. ^_^ Downloading now. mj132 Well-Known Member Oct 2, 2013 354 5 18 United Kingdom #15 mj132, Dec 17, 2015 Still on the fence on this one, I love a good point and click game but I want more than 20-30 minutes of game time Jayg2015 Well-Known Member Jan 5, 2015 3,734 41 48 Male Player 1 Liberty city #16 Jayg2015, Dec 17, 2015 Only 99 cents .
