D/l the update, don't particular wild about the new icon. Well exactly which levels have been changed?
Mainly the first ones. In short we improved the difficulty curve and the overall experience, you will find more soldiers and elite soldiers earlier in the game, and less lasers. Looking forward to read what you guys think of the new controls and other changes. We hope you will like the update.
I'm going to postpone the update. Only a few levels left and I want to see the whole game before any changes are made. Thanks for the continual support on the game Mobigame.
Fine, still need to hate those gorram laser traps... Still at work so need to take time and try the new stuffs out.
After all the crap Mobigame went through causing lost sales for over a year on Edge (a fantastic game), I think $5 is a worthy investment. Consider me sold!
And Perfect Cell is worth every cent of that $5. It was the best game for me back in December and throughout the first half of January. Oh and I don't really get the controls issue. Controls has been perfect imo from the very start..
Definitely do not like the new icon and preferred the old one. I would rather see an updated picture of the cell than the enemy and cell. It makes it look like the enemy has a major role in the game instead of the cell.
I have to agree with this, I don't mind a new icon but the previous one had a great style which fitted the game a lot more imo
it will come back later probably. the new icon tells a story for those who never heard of this game before. @Serian, there are 12 artworks to unlock in the update with different versions of the creature. What about the other changes? did you try to play the first levels again, and do you like the new controls, and the new options?
I actually haven't bought it yet, although I will. It isn't really a price thing, mostly a 100 game backlog that keeps growing. I will say that a sale will usually get me to buy something in my wish list when I don't need to, as I am a sucker for a good deal and I am on a budget. Seems worth the $5 price though and Mobigames involvement on the forums and game updates is excellent.
I only have one single question: is the game still sensible to jailbroken devices, given that the app is legit ? with the previous version it gave me an app error/reinstall with itunes more than once... oh, and btw, I just love the new icon...! and the artworks to unlock as well, that's typically the sort of thing I just LOVE to see as bonuses !
Hey Mobigame, the Perfect Cell update makes it ever better. I like the more accurate new control and the icon rocks, its true that the first one was good but this one is really nice... havent unlocked anything new yet but now i can finish it the pacific way. Congrats on your award, you deserve it...
That's a very interesting question djiwai! We developed a very strong security code for this game. It works like a charm on all iPhone, iPod and iPad. I am not aware of the issue that you may have with a jailbroken iPhone. Did you install the game with iTunes (or the embedded App Store), and did you change the name of the App, or another file from the game on your device?
