Okay, I picked this up. Pretty good. Just overly simple. But I'm enjoying it a lot. I wish shadows had something to do with stealth. When I'm hidden and enemies walk right up to me I actually wish they could see me. And I wish when one guard was alerted he would get other guards to help search. Really fun, but just... Simple. Which is perfect for most iGamers.
I'm really loving this game. I'm going the stealth route first, then I'll start killing everything on my next. >=D
I'm on the last few E levels now and have so far had a pretty great time. By far one of the best original games that came out this month. Looking forward to getting the No Kill bonus for each level. Great work Mobigame - I love all of your stuff
How did you pass this level. I'm stuck on the 4 door mechanism. I can get one to the end, but I have to keep one on the first lock to open the last elevator and I can't seem to figure out how to get the other cell to the last elevator?
cool game played it yesterday, thoug the controls suck. perhabs you could investigate the controls of SILVERFISH and offer the user another additional control option. I dont think the controls are intuitive right now, since I often have my finger in the sight of the cell-creature-thing btw, playing edge atm. is there any walkthrough or help on level 40 and above?! Love this game
I don't understand the complaints about the controls. I think they are perfect. This could be another of those big fingers vs small fingers things. How are they not intuitive? You drag where you want the cell to go. If you need to make a precise movement (to a switch for example) you tap where you want the cell to go. How could it be any more intuitive than that?
The only thing I could think of would be Spirit-like controls, but then it would be weird to move at such a slow speed.
Found a cool bug: if you're in the tube-like tunnels, you can sometimes dash through the walls, and run around in black space. It's not a major bug/glitch, but I was playing around and got lost in it Also, a couple of suggestions: Bombs, Robots (or hovering disks), having to navigate quickly in toxic water, water levels in general , being able to possess and enemy for a certain amount of time (mentally or physically), creating a fake version of yourself for enemies to see, more intractable objects: boxes, crates, etc, telekinesis, and so on. Oh, and I found a really cool way to try and beat enemies: splitting into two cells, and then distracting and enemy with one and then killing them from behind!
Anyone have advice on how to get through Level C8? I need some guidance on getting past the floors that require one cell to hold the fort while the other moves onward. I can't have them reunite after the split because the first cell, can't move back fast enough before floor raises shut.
I think I know what level you're talking about...try splitting into three cells. If that doesn't work, post a screenshot.
the controls really killing the gamefun for me, what am I missing? I see it that way: I tap and hold in the direction the creature should move. when I tap the creature and drag fast it moves quickly... but WHY not in vertical directions. I play the game without killing anybody which is the most challenging gameplayoption imo, but with these controls its a pain. What I am doing wrong!? A relative touch control option for quick moves in the desired direction would be super-please help
Apologies if this has been covered somewhere in the thread, loving the game but if I could ask for one thing when playing on the iPad is to enable screen orientation... A strange request I know but when I want to play the game with my iPad in it's case set in triangle stand position, I cannot play the game as the screen will not rotate. That is all... Back to the game
You don't need to tap the creature, just swipe vertically on the whole screen to dash vertically. It's already using relative controls for the dash, so there you go.
you can find several solutions on our Facebook group: http://www.facebook.com/video/?oid=46217306115 also, Timorg from Japan, who is probably the best Edge player in the world has a Youtube channel with some speedruns: http://www.youtube.com/user/timorg4edge David
Thanks. Sorry, no, I am currently on E7 and have it done before next year! E5 is not hard at all and frankly, I don't find it too non-linear after you learn that container is your best friend. But some late D levels can really take your nerve out. From E onwards, careful timing and a lot of patience is a must, especially with those laser traps. ( which players will learn to hate them. ) But I recall in a late D, if you want to kill-em-all (except the armored of course), you have to travel quite a bit to seek every single soldier / terrorist out. Minor issues found: In E5 or 6 (I just forget which), actually, one can end the level even if one of split Perfect cells reaches the end point.... Fast moving laser through a row of holes (or shutter?) some time does not hit the Perfect Cell even when it is under one of the holes. Getting hit by one laser inside a laser trap always means "bounce-to-death". I understand the design decision behind bounced by beam but one careless move leads to restart can be frustrating.
thanks currymutton, we are working on the next update, fixing some bug, etc. every comments are much appreciated.
Not to bug but...did you see my post? http://toucharcade.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1511617&postcount=188
