I'm trying to understand your suggestion to improve the game but really i don't understand it.
I'm not looking for excuses. Just sharing my personal opinion about what's happening here to try to understand it.
About your suggestion: You already can skip one level touching the hint button. Where's the problem with this button? If you need help you can use them to get hints or finally skip the level if do you want it using the same button.
The hints are 100% free. You only must to play 5 minutes in one level to get one hint 100% free.

  2. There's about 5 problems right there in what you just said.

A hint button does not imply "skip" and it doesn't tell you that if you use up your hints, you'll get more (especially if there's an IAP for more hints).
I don't want to use hints at all, but the game prompts me to if I take too long. If there is indeed a way to skip a level and come back to it (not solve it with a hint), then the game should be absolutely clear about that. I shouldn't have to ask for a hint to find out that a level can be skipped. And I'm still not 100% sure we're both using "skip" to mean the same thing.

I've gotten a bunch of the solutions by accident, and even in hindsight they weren't satisfying puzzles. I'm not going to waste my time going through every level for you, but TheGreatEscaper and I discussed a few that you can take a look at.

Like I said, there's a lot to like here, but there is indeed a lot that makes the game more stressful than relaxing. And the lack of clues within the environment as to what kind of shape you might be looking for, is a big one. And it's why I keep getting solutions by accident.

Believe me: The hint button let you skip the level the entire level ;)
    Try it please.
Use the hint button more than one time.

The game prompt it only ONE time.
It was fixed from the first release of the steam version.
Please, don't read the reviews of the first version of the steam game and try to write here because it has no sense.
We have worked very hard these months improving the first version of steam listening the users feedback before publishing this final version of iOS.

Congratutations. But i can do nothing to "fix" it.

Really i love read the constructive reviews because it help to me to improve the game but your last comments seems look in other direction.

You claim you're stalking me on Twitter, but you haven't seen that multiple times the game has prompted me to use a hint, freezing the game until I tapped the button and either used a hint or declined?

You're telling me to use a hint multiple times in order to get the skip option. I'm telling you I do not want to use hints. So which is it -- will the hint button simply allow me to skip or will it force me first to see hints? You're contradicting yourself.

If you can't see how all the things I've mentioned in this thread are causing needless stress, I'm not going to waste my time elaborating. I'm not getting paid to fix your game.

You're acting like I'm the first one to criticize anything in the game, yet the reviews for the Steam version were anything but stellar. Offering more free hints doesn't fix the problem. It patches it a bit.

Edit: Instead of focusing so much on my negativity, go look at WHY I said certain levels are frustrating. I didn't say every level is frustrating or needs to be fixed. But that's where a pure skip button (not a hint button) would alleviate some of the problems. If there's 100 levels and a few are weak, it's no big deal if you can just skip and come back to it later.

That's all I have to say here. If you want to discuss it further, contact me privately.

The hint button ends up showing you the shape you're trying to make, a hot cold meter, and possibly some other stuff before it skips the level (if it does). So if you use hints to skip a level (if you can) you're still losing some of the solving experience (if there is one).

To be fair, though, Ivanovic doesn't appear to be a native english speaker so hopefully there's a bit more lost in translation and a bit less lost in ignorance. The game has lovely graphics, some cool concepts, so keep those up. Just take a bit more time listening to your customers who want the same lovely graphics and cool concepts with a more satisfying gaming experience.

Re: AppUnwrapper, I just stopped at level 30. Why the missile levels have to be in red rooms with lines absolutely everywhere just annoys me.

GREAT! Thanks AppUnwrapper. With your example finally i understand why the skip button would be a good idea.
I'll add in the next update.
And... YES! I'm from Barcelona and my english sometimes it's a added problem to understand the ideas :D

  7. I know a little might be lost in translation, but some things he's responding to, he clearly understands what I'm saying, but talks down to me. He just dismissed my complaint about levels being solved by accident, refusing to acknowledge that these are weaknesses in the puzzles, not something I deserve a pat on the back for. I'd love to poll those who solved 29 without a hint and see how many of them got the solution on purpose, not by accident.

Not every level of 100 has to be a mind-blowingly clever puzzle. But don't blame the players for weak puzzle design.

As for the missiles, I actually like those to a degree. But I think the game needs to explain when the rules change. I don't think they did for 30, but if you get past that, you'd see what I mean. It's what I was referring to with level 10. It's ok for rules to change, as long as there's some indication of it. Otherwise the player might be staring at it for hours, not realizing that the rules have changed.

  8. Thanks. That's good to hear.

This version is focused in Virtual reality experience but can be played with out glasses. Here all the levels has the same mechanics because the other mechanics don't works with cardboard.

Thanks for adding the skip option. The problem is, it works like a hint because it now revealed the image in the level selector. Can you hide that for skipped levels? Thanks.

    Hi,

You do not want to play a certain type of levels and I understood your point of view and added the button to skip it.
    Ok!
But i don't understand where is the problem about to know the figure of this level that you don't want to play.
It don't have sense for me

  14. I don't want to skip it completely. I simply want to skip it for now and come back later after I've played other levels that don't stump me as much. Lots of puzzle games offer this, or at least unlock a few levels at a time. I don't want the game to solve it for me.
