    Can someone help me with the level "LIGHTHOUSE" in The Basement, I can't seem to figure out what to do to beat it ?

    Few thoughts and "help!?"

    1) Most importantly, I love this game... I mean LOVE it. I can't put it down.

    2) I can't stress strongly enough that you should keep any bears upon reaching a checkpoint. That is a huge part of what makes it fun/tough/frustrating. I've had to complete certain levels a few times, each time getting only one bear so I wouldn't "die" trying for the others. I think having bears be "saved" upon checkpoints would massively dilute the fun/difficulty of the game. It makes it THAT much more rewarding when you beat all the levels and collect every bear. I would be strongly AGAINST that changing.

    My position is completely the opposite.
    I find it frustrating and frankly stupid that I can spend a lot of time and effort actually getting the bears, and then not get credited for the effort upon completing the stage on account of dying, which is most frequently due to the pointless "tap arrow to run" system.
    Have anyone ever had use of actually walking at all in this game?

    I guess it's just a matter of "taste". I find not getting credit for saving the bears as part of the additional challenge. Sometimes, I've had to 'win' a level three separate times to get 3 separate bears. Other times, levels would be infinitely easier if you didn't have to get the bears AND finish level in same move without dying. Would completely dumb down the game from my perspective. But, that's just how I see it. I understand what you're saying, just don't agree. And you do get "credited" for your effort in that you found the bear and learned more about what needs to be done to finish the level...

    Nevertheless, still loving this game... at 71.2% finished and counting. I don't go to next level until i've won previous with all the bears. There have been a few levels that I've played for waaaaay too long before finally completing it. Which makes it all the more fun when you finally do.

    I had bought this game for my iPhone 4 but deleted it because it was really laggy. But now I re-installed the game and it runs super smooth now, no lag at all. Was there an update or something?

    Also any news on more levels or other additions in future updates? Such an awesome game

    Ok... a few things...

    First, I just completed the final level. Wow. Absolutely loved this game.

    But I'm not done. Still have two bears to go back and get. I tried and tried the first time through, but coudln't get to them. So, stuck at 136/138 bears :( But, I WILL get those last two. Also need to get 8 of the 12 golden bears still.

    Quick question... Where are achievements? When i go to where i think they "should" be, it just says "loading" without ever loading anything?

    LASTLY... this was easily my favorite game of all time. What other games would I like that are similar, now that I am almost done with this one?

    Just added an always run mode that can be turned on from the pause menu. It will be out with the next update (1.2). I still have a few things to fix up, but hopefully I'll be submitting it this week.

    Glad you enjoyed it!! I'll take a look at the achievement issue, it is popping up for me right now. Is it possible GC was down for a moment? What device are you on?

    The 1.1 update had a few performance updates for the iPhone 4, so that probably helped. As for the boss, it is a bit of a spoiler, but I found a youtube video of someone getting past that section:

    Ok... I give up ... I have 137/138 friggin bears and have solved all the levels.

    I can't figure out the second bear on NextDoor (not the birds one)

    I think it has something to do with the box that falls when you push laser off... But no idea how to get above laser without box falling... Help?!?

    (EDIT: Nevermind... i mercifully figured it out. 138/138!!!!! Now, I just need to get all the gold bears...)

    Sooooooooo... any news on an update? Are the controls gonna be made so that we can ALWAYS run? Or... is this one going on the backburner?

    Whew... finally finished! 138/138 and 12/12... I will say, and maybe this is just me being grumpy, but two of the golden bears are borderline "unfair". Just brutal. But, seeing as they are achievable, I suppose that is a harsh assessment.

    I asked earlier and didnt get any responses... what other games are similar to this one? In terms of strong platforming/"puzzle" angles, with achievements needed to win?

    Sorry for the delay. I just uploaded the beta for 1.2 to the test group. I'll let them test it for a few days to make sure I don't send out anything that is horribly broken and then I'll be ready for submission. Always Run mode will be available via the pause menu. Once enabled you no longer need to double tap.

    So... Where's that update?

    I'm also a little puzzled by "Faceoff" (the last level in the caverns). What is it that makes the golden blocks appear? Of it's just a timer, it's timed too slow, as I can pretty consistently get there, jump, and fall before the blocks have started to appear.

    It could, and it could just be that I couldn't get it to work... so don't quote me on that.
