Is there an option to turn of accelerometer control? Please don't ask "why would you want to"...I'm just wondering.

I was rong (with a capital R) to assume that this game would be simple and dull. It is absolutely amazing! This is THE best 5 bucks I have spent, and that is really saying something, because I have hundreds of games for my 2G iPod. Don't hesitate like I did guys! :D

Wow...this discussion made me think there was *facepalm*. Oh well, didn't want it anyways :). It would have made the game different.

This is AWESOME! It is just how I imagined Peggle on this device. No stupid accelerometer controls, no gimmicks, just some good old-fashioned Peggle. It is pure awesomeness. GET IT NOW!

More Impressions: If you like Peggle, you will enjoy this game. As I said above, it is your standard Peggle game, only on the go. It has the same amount of polish as all of Popcap's other games. I recommend that you try the demo if you havent played it yet, then based on whether or not you enjoyed it, purchase or not purchase the game. You will definitely get your moneys worth.

For the people that aren't getting sound: I DO HEAR THE SOUND! There is definitely sound, it must just be a bug in your game or a glitch in your iPod/iPhone. An update should fix whatever problems you guys are having, though. And Popcap will probably make the update a top priority.

Ok I'm on master hu (LVL 10) and my battery just died... not so bad on battery, I have about half brightness, and half speaker volume... I have been playing since about 6:30, so about 4 hours straight from a full>dead battery isn't too bad IMO... Loving so far!!!!

It's not the sound, it's the backround music. The start-up and Fever Mode music is there, but that's it.

I'm assuming it was a deliberate choice of the developer.

Yes, Peggle (on other systems) doesnt have background music. I like t that way, you can hear the sounds of the pegs being hit better.

I just played 10minutes of the mac demo and I'm pretty much hooked.

Just look at the number of levels on this game. For the price, what a steal. Purchased!

Yes, but only if you don't own the game for the PC or other platforms, simply because this is a direct port.
PopCap should have included Peggle Nights and sold it for $10, now that would sell.
I feel bad for those who will buy the iPod Touch version after playing Peggle on the DS.

I have it on DS and prefer it on my iphone. Mostly cause I always have my phone with me but also cause the visuals are much better.

It has all the modes of the DS version and a Demo option in the options that must be unlocked. (it says something about seeing how the masters play)

Once 3.0 hits it would be very easy for Popcap to sell a Peggle Nights add on to the game... Or sell Peggle Nights by itself and have a Peggle add on.
