You should seriously not bump the Peggle topic when it's been out of the spotlight for two months. I'm sure a lot of people just got really excited that the mythical "music update" actually happened, and someone was bumping the topic for this reason. Regarding your question, I think you should get Peggle. But you might want to post in the "What Should I Get" thread on General Game Discussions.
I agree. There are actually 3 big reasons to bump this thread, and a question like that was not one of them. #1 - Peggle ported to the iPad #2 - music added to iPod version #3 - Peggle Nights added as DLC update May this thread rest until one of the above happens. Popcap has nothing to say about anything above, that's for sure.
Lighten Up. This is not the MasterChief3624 Forum. He's not a developer trying to bump his own thread, he's a user asking a perfectly legitimize question. Just because you're done with the game, others are just buying it now. All the questions that were on topic there are not off topic just because you arn't interested any more. To answer the OPs question. Peggle, by a mile. Much more depth, better graphics, better controls.
I agree, hell I bought Peggle on the iPod Touch when it first came out and I still play it. Well worth the purchase. Users should not feel bad about bumping a topic for an older game just to try and get some help or advice.
I realize this is not the MasterChief3624 Forum. If he was a developer bumping the thread, I wouldn't mind that at all. Developers usually bump old threads for their games when something good happens to it. A price drop, new update, sequel announcement... anything regarding their game that is news, is a good bump to me. The question is legitimate, sure, but they really should have posted it in the General Game Discussions board, since it's not legitimate enough to bump this crazy old topic. Plus, I wouldn't jump on them for it as harshly if Peggle wasn't one of those games that people are clamoring for updates for. It's pretty common knowledge by now that PopCap promised the original music for the game coming in an update, and the addition of the Peggle Nights expansion eventually. So many people have been waiting patiently for this that if someone bumps the Peggle topic, I can guarantee you that more than a dozen people will be severely disappointed. That's all I'm sayin'
I disagree for a number of reason, and I'll tell you why. 1) Had he started a new Peggle thread, some user, perhaps MasterCheif3625, would have given him grief for starting a new thread when a perfectly usable one already existed. 2) A lot of people who played Peggle have subscribed to this thread, so he already had a built-up audience for his question. 3) This is a general Peggle thread. While you are only waiting for an update that is probably not coming, others may just be interested enough in the existing game to answer his question. If you want to start a thread titled "Where the heck is the Peggle update" I will gladly support you in jumping on people who post general questions about Peggle. The good new is I just checked with godaddy, and MasterChief3624Arcade.com is available. If you start a new site, you can have 100% carte blanc in deciding what threads are justified.
Or, and this is just an idea, you could just unsubscribe from this thread and stop reading it altogether. Chances are when any of those things happens, you will hear about it some other way anyhow.
hahahahaha ...Christ.... anyway! To the question that started this whole shebang: Arachnadoodle or Peggle? Both are on my touch and will never leave. If I was forced at gunpoint to delete one of them - I'd delete Arachnadoodle. (but get both!)
theres an update ! with.......drum roll....... classic peggle background music during game play !!!!!!
well i've just grabbed it in the german store - now on version 1.1 also supports ios4 and multitasking if you cant see it yet i suspect thats just the normal itunes roll out delay
