I can see why many loves Peggle, a very clever mix of pinball and puzzle game. It is very polished, and smooth but I am yet to feel the addiction many here claim: may be I would never feel it coming or I am not that much a pinball fan. I think most of the time when I am picking up my device to lay something, Moxie and Color Drop may be my first choice.
Don't get me wrong. I have the game on my device and it is the very first game which I spend time playing this instead of reading RSS or local paper in the morning. Am I now a case of addiction?
I loved this game on my Mac and it's just as good on my iPod. Great game, great port. Only minor lag in some places, but hey, I can deal with it. Wonderfully done and I love this game!
It freezes for like 5 seconds when doing zen shots. Gotta pull out mac version and see if there is a delay for calculating...probably is but don't think it's no 5 seconds. I'm on stage 11-2..only 3 more levels left for adventure mode completed. It's not based on pinball but rather Japanese pachinko.
Alright, here in my town, the translation of pachinko and pinball sounds very similar and I am very much aware of their differences. I stand corrected.
Nah, I just thought that one might come. Don't know when, but I got a lot of other games to beat, so I can wait a while.
Bought game today and finished it today....well at least adventure mode. Now off to the challenges. Now time to kick the bucket!
I went on a bit of an appbinge tonight and one of the games that I bought was Peggle. ...I haven't even played the others yet.
You know its funny... All these fancy schmancy games dropping left and right and what am I most addicted to? Why Peggle of course. I love this game.
Just wanted to share something with you guys/gals. I went ahead and bought the iDevice version, even though I already own the click wheel version. And to my surprise the the iDevice version is inferior. No music. It's slower. The colors don't pop off the screen. They seem muted in comparison to the Click Wheel version. And the lag during Fever Mode leaves me baffled. And I also really hate the lag when I press the Fire button. Overall, I give it a 6/10... Hope updates might clean some of this up... No flames, please. I really like this game on Click Wheel and PC. Newcomers beware.
small complaints, this game is still worth 20 bucks no matter the tiny tiny flaws. i have peggle on every platform available and this version is perfectly fine, the lag is minor and the missing music doesnt bother me in the least because i never listen to it anyways, always have my own playing. buy this or die. i would even buy this game for my f'ing graphing calculator
I wish there was a left and right swipe to aim that doesn't auto aim where you first touch. When it instantly points to where you touch, then drag to where you want to aim, you can't see anything with your finger in the way. I then want to release the screen and touch slightly next to it to fine tune it more, to only have it aim at my finger again. It would be nice if you could slide left or right anywhere on the screen without it auto moving to your finger. Basically like the blue slider on the right, but the whole screen horizontally. Then leave a quick finger tap for aiming. You wouldn't even need the vertical slider on the right because you'd have more precision with the entire screen. Maybe I just got to get use to tapping where I want to aim, then fine tune on the right. But I naturally want to use the screen.
this game makes me happy. i love the load up quotes. so funny xD aranging peggles..adjusting for awesomeness hahaha
Glad you love the game. 20 bucks, though? NO. All i wanted was the same experience from the PC and Click Wheel. Its not.
What is exactly missing from the Click Wheel? Could it just be the screen that's different that's effecting colors? I like the slow motion in Extreme Fever mode, and the added effects that are missing in the click wheel version. What lag from the firing button? I agree about no music, but I don't know what I'm missing yet.
