Mac OS is pretty much priceless for me and the only reason I wont be using anything but a Mac for the foreseeable future. Neat looking hardware and battery life is just icing on the cake. I can do without them too but there is no way in hell I'll ever go back to using windows or any other OS anytime soon. Get a job!!
Straight > Homo Pro Life > Pro Choice Wii > any console NBA > college basketball Mormon > any other religion PC > Mac I think I covered all my bases.
The rest of the hardware was decent for the time. 1.83 GHz Intel Core Duo T2400 120GB 5400RPM Hard Drive 1GB DDR2 RAM (which I later upgraded to 2GB)
ASUS has a reputation of building great laptops. I don't think shattering would be too much of a problem.
