It gets 75% done and says it cant download. Anyone else have this issue?
No problems here. Try restarting your phone/ipod and re-downloading it.
I didnt have a problem either - it did take about 20 minutes though
How much space you got left on your device?
i had this issue with hero of sparta too
hrm. I noticed apps download and when they install they seem to uncompress.. often I need 3 times more space than the app itself. Try clearing up a few hundred megs if you can and try again.
that was it i need over 800 mb free for it to start installing
Because of the size of the game, I think the dev should consider posting a note on the APP description that says users will require approx. 800 megs to download / install it.
I had one gig of space left on my first gen and had no problems I think it's your space man or possibly restart your router
I've had similar problems with Guitar Rock Tour .... local device installs require at least double the install size.... and then a bit more
donwload it from your pc or mac... i think that´s the better way XD
i downloaded it on my pc and had a simaler problem, had over enough space 2 install yet said there wasnt enough space..
downloaded fine for me too
Interesting tip, I will keep that in mind as more and more big games come out. Can you imagine when we get to something Final Fantasy-ish that takes 1 or 2 gigabytes? You'd need 3-6GB free just to install it! Maybe we'll be carrying around 128GB iPhones by then and it won't be a big deal
Heh, 1 or 2 gig app? It'll be a while before we see that kind of bloat (or so I hope!).
I usually keep my 8gb iphone full of Mp3s hence why I've learned the hard way that you need 3x the space of the app (roughly) in order to get it installed. I'd have say, 200mb free and try to install a 80mb app and it would fail until I freed up more space. I think what the iphone does is download the app package and then uncompress it / install it keeping the original archive.. that's the only conclusion I can come up with, otherwise something is retarded about this whole thing.
Course now I don't have any space issues since my recent attempt to JB failed and I lost all my MP3s, plenty of space now!
just delete the dark knight lol then there will be enough room
noo!!!!!!!!! thats a good movie!!
We upload the Binary Zipped. And the compressed size is the size that shows up in the App store. So It must be that if you download it to the device it unzips it on the device and so it requires more space while it's unzipping (a little more than double)
This thread provides an answer to something I've noticed when Beta testing apps. I always thought it "interesting" that the Beta test versions were approx 3 times the size of the release versions. And now I know why!
