Payback² Release Date, New Dev Diary

Looks like you guys beat me to it, but the game now has a proper release date - 4 October (that's this Thursday). There's also a new dev diary and screenshots here:

    More news soon!

    Thanks,

James, a question and/or request… Would it be possible to play this in portrait mode? I've played the demo of the first game, and felt like I couldn't see far enough ahead while driving - it was a bit frustrating. I think being able to drive while in portrait mode, so there's more vertical screen space to show what's coming up in front of the car, will mitigate the problem a bit. But perhaps it'd be a bit painful to tweak the game to allow that at this point in development…

Oh, Btw, is there any trailer or a gameplay video to this?

The game is landscape only, but there is an option in the pause menu to adjust the height of the camera that should help.

Not yet, but we will be posting one very soon.

It says it's $3.99 and $6.99 (HD Universal). I have $7.67 on my account and I know iTunes has a tax system. Is the tax based off if the state/country you live in cause I'd rather have the HD version.
