Not really, the Patreon hack was exceedingly minor to the point that they're not even requiring password resets.
You should take down the link and find a new way to get sponsored to protect those who may not be aware of this event. Just my .02.
Everyone who is a Patreon backer was contacted. Everything you're supposed to do when something like this happened has already been done. I'm not sure what else I can do to make you guys happy.
That seems like an over reaction. Unfortunately just about everyone's been hacked at one time or another. PSN check, Xbox live check, Target check. Homedepot check, Apple check.
Was patreoning $5/mo, but no access to the Patreon member page and no ability to comment on daily posts.
If your paranoid about your credit card. dont put it online.. use paypal. Patreon supports paypal. For the record. they dont store credit card information on their web server
Did you use the same email address that's linked to your toucharcade account? If not that could explain why. I have a different email address for shopping anything to do with money, and a seperate one for forums.
Yes, I also have a completely private mail adress just for transactions... App Store, PayPal, Amazon, Steam... it's much saver.
