I have 6plus however I am also playing it on a 5.2 inch android phone with no issues. It is totally playable as is. Sure a phone UI would be better but it's not bad.
Am having this exact same problem! Love the game so far, was about to purchase the bundle, thought I'll try Quest Mode - but now can't get it to work?? Anyone else? Edit: ah read a few pages back and sure enough, others having the same problem. Will wait for update.
Can someone tell me how to identify treasure from treasure chests within the gallery? 1) if I've just opened a treasure chest, then dismissed this screen and now go into the gallery, how do I know what is the treasure that I just opened? 2) if I then find that treasure in an adventure which is apparently what has to happen, when I go to the gallery, how do I identify that treasure.
Quest Mode is working for me, but I start the game with only 8 blessings...aren't I still entitled to the standard 30?
And as much as it probably goes against Obsidian's (and most developers', I naively imagine ) work ethic, I'm sure the overwhelming, raging majority of us would would rather have a blurry, problematic iPhone port than no way to Pathfind Adventurously out of our pocket. (And let me retroactively apply that argument to nearly every single iPad exclusive released since the word "pad" was conceived.) A good thing these past years have proven that just about ANY genre and title can be ported to phone screen real estate, with clever enough UI design and proper incentive (dough, fame, sex and 4.5-star TA reviews).
Maybe Quest mode is some kind of challenge/puzzle mode where you have to "solve" the quest in a few rounds. I'll try that as soon as I unlock it ^_^ Had almost no time to play, unfortunately U_U
I'm not sure I am understanding the text on the dagger card. The second part says "when you are playing another weapon you haven't already used on this check, you may discard the dagger to do X" (I don't remember exactly what it does, but my confusion is about the triggering condition, not the effect) I've played the physical game quite a bit but honestly haven't played Merisiel so I've never used the dagger; when you are on a check, you can only play one card of each type, so why does the card specifie "a weapon you haven't already used on this check"? Every weapon I play in any single check hasn't been used on that check, since I only get to play ONE on a check. Does it mean a weapon I haven't already used on my turn (on a different check)? Or in the entire scenario? Meaning I can use this dagger effect only the first time IN THE SCENARIO that I use a weapon? For example: let's say I reveal a short sword on a check and don't use the dagger to get its secondary effect; then in another check later, if I reveal the short sword again, can't I discard the dagger to get its secondary effect because I have already played the short sword before?
As a guy that plays FTL, desktop dungeons, crowntakers, heroes of might and magic 3, runespell, sentinels of the multiverse, star hammer, shadowrun returns, and now this and Ortusregni...(amongst more), On my 6+ (Jailbreak), believe me, I understand the eagerness to get anything that comes to ipad straight over to iPhone as well.
Is anybody else having an issue where when a character is low on health and the bottom right of the screen has an effect to show this, the screen becomes amazingly unresponsive? Edit: I'm on an iPad Air

It's a known issue. Go to settings and remove effects, then re enable them when you are with normal health again.
I'm midway of the second scenario. The more you play and more cards you unlock, the better the game gets. You really start shaping your characters (decks) and you can really start doing all sort of synergies between the various cards. Really awesome.
Another bug, pardon if this has been posted before, is when you exchange a card discarded with another in hand. No button show when zooming into a card and dragging some time does not work. If you switch out and then in under such situation, the background becomes the game map and need to kill the app and start again.
Who did you guys use to beat brigandoom (spelling?). I've tried three times now using meresiel and kyra. Made it pretty close on the third time, close to closing the last location but ran out of turns. In fact for all three I run out of turns. Just wondering if it's a matter of having more in my party...like 6 of them maybe!? Even though my problem seems mostly to be running out of turns, so not sure just having more heroes is going to help with that? So sad I'm struggling just to beat the first scenario.
Thankfully I just read on the official Pathfinder Adventure Tech Support page that my issue is part of the known issues with Quest Mode and already fixed in the upcoming update.
Yes, took me about 8 or 9 attempts. Best advice is to split up your two members, use the rogues evade ability to cycle through cards to get the bandits down and then use the clerics heal skill to keep topped up with cards.....such a useful skill. Keep the discards down to a minimum and don't forget your other team member can aid you in a fight even when not on the same location....check their symbol in upper right to see if an exclamation mark is showing which then means they can play a card to,help, you. Good luck.
Are the links still working? Unless just an iPad issue, every time I attempt to download the latest version of the guide I'm told the download fails.
