Quick question: After compleing a scenario, and receiving cards as loot, i have to remove cards above 'hand limit'. They go to the 'available' row. But after im done with selection, and go to next screen, the ones moved the 'available' row, seem to be gone. Is this on purpose? -or are hiding somewhere else? Edit: Ok, they went into the vault, i get it
So glad this is available for Phones now, too! I only own the "Skull & Shackles" base set and am slowly working my way through those missions -- but I find it increasingly hard to get a group of guys together on a weekly basis to play games like this in-person. Hopefully, this iOS version will satiate my appetite.
I dont understand how the blessings with a given 'name' works. The one that says something like: When discarsing this card, if there is another card on top of the discars pile, with the same tag (eg 'ganypluplu'), the recharge instead.' I tried discarding 2 after eachother, and did not get the recharge option Bug?
They are referring to the BLESSING discard pile, not your own hand discard pile. That's the only thing I can think of based on the words you wrote exactly. I haven't noticed otherwise if bug or not.
When you complete the daily gold challenge, how do you collect the gold? I clicked around but nothing seemed to "collect". Is it automatic when the challenger flips to the next day?? Also, what are the cards I see in the vault. I'm used to the actual board game so am not familiar with these. Are they only used in the random quest feature???
If you are talking about the "Daily Challenge", the gold is awarded immediately upon completing the challenge (it can be hard to see ... hearing the "cha-ching" of coins is more pronounced). Cards in the Vault are cards in the random pool that are available to be acquired while exploring locations during scenarios. Keep in mind that the available card pool it limited to the adventure deck number in Story Mode or party Tier in Quest Mode. You won't have access to level 2 cards until you are on adventure 2 and so on. I hope that makes sense.
But just to clarify, if...say..you are playing a scenario on deck 3 you can still get deck B,1, and 2 etc from boons/locations in those scenarios..so current tier and below basically. God I NEED deck 4 DQ 7 keeping me busy on the wing though =D
But all your cards go to the same discard pile (the one in the lower ledt corner). Even if it were so, playing 2 of the same blessing in a row, would also mean that the top card in whatever discard pile they land in, was the same as you discarded = the special ability should trigger...
Uhm, you know how up on the top of the screen there are blessings counting down, sort of like a timer? While 90% are of the standard blessing type, occasionally some of the obscurer ones show up, if your blessing matches the one currently shown up on the top of the screen, extra stuff might happen. It has nothing to do with YOUR discard pile in the lower left.
^ correct and that's what I said on the previous page. Blessing discard pile and your own hand discard pile are completely different. The blessing effects are always referring to the BLESSING discard pile, the one with a symbol of the current blessing shown in the top middle right of the screen.
I opened the last 9 chests I had. Got lots of dice skins. But it says I have no dice skins still. That sucks big time.
Great, so it's not just me. I've only supposedly earned 1 dice skin so far but, like you, it never showed up in my inventory.
Wow - confusing! But thanks for the help and clarification Now i finally get what that thingy was about. Its very obvious that the boardgame is designed by americans and not germans
SO, if you play one of those basic blessings, and there is a specific blessing up top in the blessing discard face up, when you play the basic one it takes on the effects of the specific one that is face up on the blessing discard (the top one that counts down) OR if you play the SAME type of blessing that is currently face up your blessing card recharges into your deck instead of being discarded. You guys having trouble..you HAVE played the tutorial right? It explains most of all these little idiosyncracies and those that are not explained in the tutorial are definitely in the options>rules pages. These are both worth referring to, I played the tutorial 3 times I believe and I learned something new and game changing every time. The rule book has also been very very helpful. I have NEVER been into table top games like D&D and while friends played everything always confused the hell outta me, even..and especially the references to "1d10, 2d4, 1d12," etc wet-cetera.. ;D But..I dedicated myself to really learning this game because I could tell it was absolutely worth it. I learned it well in about a week of playing and losing scenario's back to back, but after that week, tutorials, and some rule book reading I really really had the hang of it. NOW...I can't sweep the cards and touch screen mechanics fast enough...I know exactly what to do immediately..b4 the graphic can even complete and it feels too slow...this is a great place to be and DAMNED fun...that said...WHERETHEHELLSISMAHDECK4DAMNIT!!!!!!!! lol..j/k, but really...fuggingivememydeckfourorDIEINAFIRE. learn2swimlearn2swimlearn2swimlearn2swim >_< You young padwans are whalecum. All you kids that need some help, I 178% insist that you watch this video. It's been posted here a number of times. This guy explains the game so well it's quite admirable. Just watch it and 30 minutes later you'll know what you're doing. https://youtu.be/zdtw7dfmR7Y
Should I play this? I've read some App Store reviews and they do not paint a pretty picture with bugs and content delayed...
