That is true, and there are rules & terms to read in the game, which helps a lot. However, right off the street the tutorial sucks for teaching this game. If you need to read the rulebook then put that in the game instead of a bad tutorial. Regardless, I love the game!!! I would fix the tutorial to snag all the new players you can.
It's way better than the physical copy. I bought the first edition when it originally came out, and the game was absolutely confusing the first few times playing. I kept messing up the rules because the rule book is not entirely clear what is possible. Not to mention, the cards in the first printing are loaded with errata, which just complicates things even further.
Neuroshima Hex digital is also better (for my opinion) than the physical because the battle is so straighforward and you can also skip it to the end and you cannot do any mistakes if someone will die, live, etc. I am wondering how awesome will be to play these board games like pathfinder, ticket to ride, waterdeep, forbidden island, etc on the big ipad pro !!
Wow... those memories. Lords of Waterdeep was the 1st game I purchased on my iPad, and it still shines.
Not yet. (Obsidian has stated in their forums that the smartphone update is a bit off, and that when it approaches, they'll likely do a marketing push, ensuring we'll know about it beforehand.)
Woo! It's updated!! But man I REALLY want to play it on my 6+ so bad! Can't wait for the NEXT update I guess #
Did the update introduce this new bug: Fight against a siren Fail the combat wisdom check Drop cards Then, siren forces to discard an ally from top 3 cards of the deck Then, reshuffles Then [bug], screen blacks, and no 'continuie' arrow. Basically, a frozen game at this point
@devs Wanted to thank y'all for the constant content updates, I bought the season pass on day 1, and I wanted to show my appreciation as a customer in a market where you pay for content in advance and hope the company makes enough money to keep their promises. Didn't realize all 6 of the adventures weren't out on release, but I feel very confident about your time-table now, and I can't wait for y'all to ask me for money for the next one, y'all are a great example of how to do this the right way. Polished game, no unreasonable release day promises, and a game that doesn't need a million hot fixes to work properly. Edit: holy crap the roles mechanic is amazing, there's so much specialization to be had its not even funny...
No way....that's brutal. I haven't had time to play the game's quest mode yet believe it or not, but that's a massive issue....
It might be working correctly, I haven't gotten that far and maybe you need to clear a given chapter first in Adventure mode to access it in Quest?
I believe you start seeing Adventure 1 cards when everyone in your quest party is level 10+ and Adventure 2 cards when everyone in your quest party is level 20+
