No you don’t, but you need to beat Katib and Edith. You go to bottom of katib tower to meet Jerome, then go to the shore at Edith (only accessible after beating Edith), then you can play the DLC, but mind you once you board the ship and set sail for the DLC, you won’t be able to go back to the main area for a while (and I don’t know for how long, I have only just started the DLC), and I know I can’t get back yet.
So I guess no iCloud on this huh? Had an issue that caused me to have to do a full restore of my phone and looks like I lost all progress on this one.
There iCloud,but you need to manually upload and download,it won’t do it automatically..I upload every time I stop playing,it’s on main setting menu.

The developer told me they will keep supporting the mobile version I can easily see this being supported for a few years
A quick note to say that my appreciation of this game has been transformed by the Backbone controller. Not to say that the touch controls are bad — it’s just a lot easier for me to get into it.
