    One more question if you remember: in Kalib large area with many houses and huge trees before deadly mist. Can’t find the way to the closed cabin (door should be opened from inside). I understood that I need to fall from tree to the cabin’s roof, but can’t find the way to this tree. Any hint will be appreciated.

    That door isn’t opened by dropping down from any ledge, it’s opened by going in from the other side. Just before you reach the boss to that level, when you take the center elevator to the bottom of the sacred tower, you can drop further down to reach the boss area (there is a document hidden in the bunch of candles after you drop down from that hole), or you can climb up a ladder to reach the back exit of the sacred tower. When you get out from the back exit, there are two paths, one leading to the undertaker and the other leads to the other side of this hut, then you can open the door from the other side and create a shortcut. In the undertaker area, there is also a ladder that you can kick which leads to the beginning of the level, creating a huge shortcut from the beginning of the level to the stage boss (and the undertaker. You will need to come back to him a few times if you want to fill your Melos bottle).

    I read the advice to make a copy of savefile before the final battle (to see different endings for different choices), but haven’t found how to copy it in iOS.

    Go to the home screen, tab the load game button, then you see the 3 save slots and the auto save slot. Your most recent save should be the one that you are playing. Tab that, there is a “delete” on one side and a “duplicate” on the other, tab the duplicate, then tab a save slot that you want to copy the save to (not the auto save slot, you can’t overwrite the auto save slot), then tab the ok at the bottom. The system will ask you if you are sure and that the action is irreversible, and you tab and hold to say you are ok with it. Once you done you will see the time stamp that your play time to both slots are the same (the save time won’t be though because the original save slot was created when you visited the save point in the game and the duplicated save was created just now). Then you will know you have duplicated a save. Then load the one you want to play with, and when you are done with the game you can load the other one and try the other ending. If you don’t make a third copy of the save just before the final boss, then when you are done with the two endings, both of your saves would be a completed game, so if there is something you would want to try before finishing the game but want to see the two endings first, you might want to copy your “just before the boss” save to a third slot before trying the second ending.

    You can also use the above method if you want to try out different trophies. I had one save point just before I decide whether to help or fight the bell guy.

    New questions ;)

    1. what is the best way to farm anthozoan bones to upgrade Mellos bottle?

    2. In what stage Delicate invitation will be used?

    3. Found “Key to a room in Katib”. I assume that it will be useful somewhere in the Tower, right?

    1. Put on the melos bottle when you get it, then you will always be in abnormal state. Anthozoan bones are only dropped when you are in abnormal state (and quite often as well, kinda like small bones except not 100% drop rate. Something like a 70% drop rate, but you only get 1 at a time, or two if you are on the last stage), so you don’t get a lot before you get the Melos bottle unless you run a dangerous game by keeping yourself in abnormal state most of the time, but once you put on the Melos bottle, you will get them easily.

    2. Don’t know, I don’t think they are used for anything, but perhaps you get some sort of discount to siflers or maybe some rarer items appear with the siflers (the description does say it has something to do with impressing the siflers), but I got it on the first map so I wouldn’t know if anything special appeared.

    3. Key to a room in Katib
    Yes. It’s in the sacred tower, somewhere near the beginning. Go through the sacred tower through the normal entrance up the lift, run up to near the second save point (the one after the save point at the entrance), drop down the ledge and there is a gate/door right after dropping down, that’s where the keyhole is (I think, I’m not 100% sure but almost 90% sure, it’s near that area). It’s an item for a character’s quests, not sure if it’s a relic or a stone slab. You should recall this door that said it’s locked or requires a key, instead of the usual this door does not open from this side.

    Hmm, you haven’t completely explored the tower yet. If you were able to find the key to a room in katib, then you must have gotten out of the tower from the upper exit. Near the upper exit (from inside of the tower), there are a couple of archers standing on the columns, explore around that area. That door is opened by dropping from above.

    Found it, thanks.

    I have received drake’s sand glass after killing the boss in Kalib, but don’t have any receipt to make a trophy from it. Should I wait for next stages?

    Go back to where you met Drake the first time near the bridge, you should find an air dried skeleton lying on the ground. Pick that up and you should have your recipe.

    All materials required to create the stage special trophy are all found within the stage.

    I guess that’s because I spent quite a lot of time farming in my first round and I found a bundle of walkthroughs and hints in some other languages’ forum. They seem to be quite extensive and so anything they didn’t mention I’m pretty sure they don’t have much use at this stage (like the delicate letter).

    In terms of paths and roads, that’s because most of the other paths are quite straight forward, so the only area you will stumble across must have been the usual few. I did spend quite a lot of time trying to make sure I get all paths and items and secret drop down areas etc. I recall dropping down some area where you are not supposed to be able to get to, and there is no way out except to jump further down and die :D.

    Did you find the trophy on top of the first elevator in the sacred tower and the second sifler inside the tower? Just thought of couple of things that some may have missed.

    Could you explain Reforge for Dummies?

    I understand that you use one of trophies to add new attributes to another trophy, and as you wrote the most important is the level of donated trophy.

    Are there any restrictions how much times you may improve the same item?

    Easiest is to explain via example. But before you begin, duplicate a back up save first, because all reforging is done at an altar, so all actions cannot be reversed.

    eg Say you wanna reforge fathers love. Fathers love comes with + atk and atk vs humanoid, and say it also has 4 additional available attributes for reforging, say crit dmg, crit rate, atk vs sendril and atk vs beast (examples only, can’t recall to be exact. What is available to add to a trophy via reforge is fixed for each trophy, you can only pick one that you want most. For the different trophies, I think minimum available to choose from is 3 and max is 5).

    First instance you would want to know what are available, so you reforge it with say 3 - 5 times with one type of sacrificing trophies (either all with resistance or all with nightmare, don’t go away to level up your altar or create a potion half way during your reforging rotation or it may randomly restart the rotation sequence).

    Say you go reforging it 3-5 times and noted that the above mentioned are the 4 available attributes, and they rotate in this sequence, crit dmg -> crit rate -> atk vs sendril -> atk vs beast -> crit dmg -> ...... etc etc, the additional attributes don’t come at random, they come at a fixed rotation sequence, it’s only where the sequence begins that will get messed up if you try it with another type of sacrificing trophy or go leveling up your altar (you can reload your save at this point once you have figured out the rotation sequence if you don’t want to over waste your sacrificing trophies, but later on in the game you will have tons to spare).

    Now doesn’t matter what sacrificing trophy you use, as long as it’s a +0 trophy, crit dmg will always be + 7, crit rate will always be + 2.5%, atk vs sendril + 3%, atk vs beast +3% (examples only, I can’t remember the figures, but the + figure is always the same), and if you use a +2 trophy as a sacrificing trophy, it’s always crit dmg + 20, crit rate + 8%, atk vs sendril + 9%, atk vs beast +9%, say.

    So say after finding out what is available, you want to add crit dmg to your fathers love, so you first prepare 3 +0 resistance trophies, and 1 +4 resistance trophy, reforge your fathers love with +0 trophies, until you get atk vs beast, then your next reforge, use the +4 resistance trophy as a sacrificing trophy, then you will get the next rotation which is crit dmg, but with the effect of a higher magnitude.

    Now there are only a fixed number of blackwater diamonds available in the game (3 to be exact), so I will never sacrifice a +5 trophy for reforging, which means the highest sacrificing trophy would be a +4. In the second last stage, enemies start dropping +1 trophies, and in the last stage they drop +2 trophies, so in theory you shouldn’t need any black water rubbles, you only need black water crystals to upgrade the +2 trophies to a +4 for sacrificing.

    1. Near beginning of stage where there is a wooden fence blocking an arch, in the area before you enter the boss area (opposite direction to the gate to the boss bridge), Heggies next to that fence;

    2. Around the corner near the altar that’s next to the gate to the back of the village;

    3. Follow the path after entering the back of the village route, on top of the house before you can go in to one and climb down to open a shortcut door to the main village road (the place where there is a clown standing on top of a higher house), drop down to your right from the top of that house, Heggies hiding there;

    4. In the area before you get to the counsel hall, where you open a gate to go out to the last bell tower to either fight or help Frollo, outside of that gate there is a small path to your right. Go to that path and you should be able to get to the ledge to fall down to open a chest holding a character quest item. Don’t fall down that ledge to the chest side, fall down to the other side, Heggies hiding;

    5. After fighting the boss, the seaside area opens (originally blocked by wooden planks), Heggies in the seaside area. That area you can also find a stone slab where you can find the name of Andrew and complete the “find my son Andrew” side quest.

    oh and one more thing I forgot to mention about reforging. It doesn’t matter what level of enhancement your base trophy is at, whether it’s a +0 or a +5, the additional attribute will never rise when you enhance your base trophy, before or after the reforging. The only thing that affects the additional attribute is the level of your sacrificing trophy, so you could well be reforging a +0 fathers love with a +4 sacrificing trophy, and you can enhance your fathers love later to a +5, or + whatever. Enhancing will only enhance the fixed given attributes of the base trophy, the additional attribute stays the same, purely dependent on your sacrificing trophy.
