It’s basically a tutorial, but it just grabs you by the neck. Can’t wait to sink some more time into this. Rocksaint Well-Known Member Nov 29, 2013 666 367 63 #3 Rocksaint, Mar 8, 2023 Interested in this. But would like to know if it’s mobile-friendly (like can save anytime) and is technically sound. (performance, hit on battery etc.) It’s hard to get an idea of games on mobile nowadays. Not many reviewers cover premium mobile games extensively. squarezero Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Dec 10, 2008 13,714 1,240 113 Male Chief Strategy Officer Salem, Massachusetts, USA #4 squarezero, Mar 8, 2023 Yes, you can save anytime. Not sure about battery hit, but my iPhone 14 Pro didn’t even get warm while playing. So far I’ve spent only a few minutes on it, but I’m intrigued. This is definitely a quality production, too. Unless ofc, it’s a graphics-heavy game. But relieved to know that we can save anytime. Or else I would have to find time specifically to play it. agreen437 Well-Known Member Jun 12, 2014 1,700 221 63 #6 agreen437, Mar 8, 2023 Is this a visual novel? I’m asking as I recently finished Dead Space Remake so I am hesitant to go into a horror game. Hambo12 Well-Known Member Jul 23, 2012 1,943 28 48 on the internet #16 Hambo12, Mar 15, 2023 There’s a few jump scares here and there. I don’t think it’s “scary” but it is tense at first for a bit but there’s some funny and light hearted moments as well. Besides later on it’s more insane and mind blowing story than about being scary. I enjoy swapping between my 12.9” M2 iPad Pro and my iPhone… not sure which I want to play on, I might end up just making this my “iPad game”, even though I started it on iPhone on the plane today. It’s has a aura of mysticism about it. It’s a pretty simple game in its core with slow pacing and a lot of reading. High production value, but not very much of a active game for those that are afraid of that. I didn’t mind it and I thought that it was pretty neat with the right amount of lenght so it didn’t felt like it overstayed it’s welcome. The plot is pretty wierd. It revolves around death curses and exploring a bunch of characters individual fates with these in chunks, with save points in between. This is nice and make it so you can break up the gameplay and don’t have to play for several hours non stop. But it’s not your 5-min toilet game either so prepare to invest som time once you start a new chapter. You can go down different paths with your characters and get different outcomes, the game pretty much wants you to do that as it’s impossible to know what to do in some scenarios the first time you encounter them. It is a horror game. It’s the type of game that really wants to be played in a dark silent room when you’re all alone. It has a creepy vibe with plenty of jump scares, so if you can’t stand that you better stay clear. More then once I flinched pretty hard playing and I never do that with horror games or movies, so I take that as a good thing. When the game gets spoopy it does it good. The tension in this game can get pretty intense. I liked it and I recommend it - but it is a bit of a acquired taste, perhaps not for everyone. Oh and you should def play this on ipad so you get a big screen. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
