We haven't quite settled on how the weapon progression is going to work. We are leaning towards a more "roguelike" type experience where you start with the pistol and pick up random weapon drops rather then choosing your equipment at loadout. We've also played with upgrade drops as well; things like seeking bullets, spread barrels for machine guns, laser sights, etc.
We will be resuming work on Paranormal Mini's now that Devious Dungeon is being shipped. Not sure how long until it's ready though.
Slowly, but surely. Been working on the weapons this week and got muzzle flashes and ground lighting from it when you fire now. Guns look and sound awesome in action! Muzzle flash with no lighting Muzzle flash WITH lighting
Hopefully soon. They were shooting for January 2014, but it seems to of been delayed. Can't wait to play this. Love the art style.
Very much looking forward to this one! I have played your last couple of games (Dungeon and RH2) and I found them really entertaining - got all stars/skulls/weapons in both, that´s how much I liked them! Will keep an eye out for the release date!
I love the games you guys make. RH1&2 and gravity duck are my favorites. Can't wait til this is released. Stupid Question, but, will you be releasing a trailer anytime soon for it. Also, so trying to understand what the game is, is it gonna be like an Endless Zombieville USA 2 in terms of core gameplay. Also ever thought about adding the ability to color the guns (something like what you can do in beat the boss 3). It think it would be a cool feature but idk how hard it would be to implement if you did do it. Off this game, ever thought about trying to make a pixel fps game? I think you guys could make a good one.
Experimenting with Twitter I asked Ravenous the status, they replied: "No news at the moment. Taking a small break but hoping to pick it up again soon."
The project lives! We've picked Paranormal Minis back up but have made some major design changes. It's went from a dual stick shooter to move of an action brawler!
Glad to see its alive To be perfectly honest, I'm a bit sad to see its switched to an action brawler, as to me every game of the sorts that uses guns just feels like it's trying to be Zombieville (that's just sorta what happens when there's an undeniable King) I'm interested to learn more about what the underlying mechanics though, to see what makes it unique
