So that explains why logging into my other mages I haven't worked on then allows me to log into the fire Mage. I'm glad you figured this one out. Can you put in an expedited fix for this right away while you work on the rest? So I went and purchased another 50 gem pack. I picked up the unlimited arena ticket, the extra 9 slots, and double gold on the the fire Mage. I had some jewels left over so of course I went for the skill points. Just so you are aware I had 6 skill points. When I opened my skill page it showed my health skill at 4 and my mana regeneration skill only at 5. It subtracted 2. I raised them both back up to their normal caps. When I logged out and back in I believe it now shows correctly. Mana regen is at 9 and health is at 7. But that's a bug. People are going to panic thinking they lost skill points. The npc that trades gold for xp isn't talking properly. It said I would get 0 gold. I'm trading gold for xp and I had 50,000 gold. I thought you were raising the level caps on the battle mage skill too? Why wasn't that raised? Later on you really need it. My main attack is now at 80 and sucks a lot of mana. When wearing jewelry such as +2 battle Mage, does it now indeed correctly go over the cap? You had said it was bugged and no matter what would only work at cap. I love the new mana regeneration rate. Nicely done there. I love the new dungeon. I love the new additions to the in app purchases. I love the permanent options. I'm so happy you guys listened on that. Once you guys have figured out the crashes I'm working on my lightning Mage next. I'll make some purchases on that one at that time. But I'd like to see the crashes fixed first. I've already spent past my own limit on this game of $20. I don't know why I love it so much I just do. Now please just put out an immediate fix so I can log in properly and then fix the crashes. And if possible can you raise the battle Mage cap to 9. That would be great. EDIT- ok I just went and tried level 12. First off HOLY S: it's harder! The new mobs are insane. The new spawn in effect is cool but I think it's making me lag a little bit. The gold doubler works nicely. Also I am NOT crashing when I tap restart in the levels. So it appears it's something with the dungeons with the crashes on restart. The restart crashes are only occurring with the graveyard and the new dungeon. Can I just say holy crap level 12 is hard now lol. I love it. Billy
V1.1.1 is released yesterday with expedited review. The reason why skill points are not properly displayed is that sync speed is somewhat slow. So first displayed points aren't correct but after seconds it'll display correctly. Skill level, sync and initialization will be adjusted. For performance, in v1.1.1 UI quality is slightly low than earlier version. Instead wizards and monsters look more clearly with hight anti-aliasing feature. Thanks
The crashing is becoming worse and worse. The game is pretty much unplayable. I decided to start playing my lightning Mage and I'm crashing entering dungeons. Transitioning from one dungeon to another. Recalling to town. And that's when I can barely get it to play. Also I just made level 10 but it is showing I have all 12 levels open. It's so bad my friend. I'm just worried I'll lose the now $26 I've spent. I really just want to enjoy the game. Since its using iCloud do you think I should just uninstall the game completely and reinstall? My characters would automatically load from iCloud after reinstall wouldn't they? Maybe it would help? Hi, Billy. Please check the version of Paper Wizard. v1.1.0 or v1.1.1????? In my itunesconnet, Paper Wizard version is 1.1.1 with ready for sales, but on App store this is still v1.1.0. I guess your bug is from v1.1.0. I didn't know why the versions are different. I'll send email to appstore review team with this issue.
Ok, I'm now able to log in with all my characters. So that crash is fixed. However. I'm crashing while viewing ads. I'm crashing entering all levels and dungeons. It's random though it might crash or it might let me through. I'm crashing when I die and tap the restart button. I'm crashing sometimes while in the middle of battle while playing. The crashes are still very very bad. iPhone 6 running iOS 9.3.1 my purchase history show v1.1.1 I cannot find anywhere in the game itself to check. Billy
So far i'm loving this update No crashes for me yet and i can now log directly on my fire mage I also really like the new enemies, the spawn indicators and the fact that the difficulty was upped
Ok, After messing around with the game, I'm trying to do anything to help figure out the crashes. Here's what I've noticed. With any of my mages I will INSTANTLY crash if I attempt to enter the following levels. This is everytime. Instant crash. Level 5 Level 6 Level 7 Level 8 Level 9 I can SAFELY get into the following levels without crashing. It won't crash if I enter the following levels from town: Level 1 Level 2 Level 3 Level 4 Level 10 Level 11 Level 12 The game randomly crashes while watching video ads. The game randomly crashes when hitting the restart button even on the levels I can safely get into. The game randomly crashes when I recall to town using the recall scroll spell. The game always crashes if I hit the restart button in the graveyard or the new event dungeon. It's everytime. A few times the game has crashed when I was in the middle of an intense fight. Here's the thing. Just before the game crashes I hear a weird sound. There's some sort of weird sound glitch and then I know a second or two later the game is going to crash. I've also experience weird sound glitches while in battle in the dungeons even when it doesn't crash. After I load the game back up from a crash I don't lose anything. Anything I picked up and the xp and gold I've earned is saved right up to when it crashes. So I never lose anything. Any ideas dev? Could that new button asking to view ads for potions have anything to do with it? I noticed also before it crashes that button will start flashing slower. Billy
I just downloaded this and can't get past Mage selection without crashing out of app. Is anyone else seeing this issue? I see others with similar problems.
I've found memory leak during loading scene. It will take times to fix it. So, I'll update interim build to play without or less crashing. Also, it will include a bug fix of skill/item effect.(If you reach max. level with + option, it gives proper effect. In item bag window, you can unequip items.
Yeahhhhh you found it! That sounds right! That explains why I hear the sound distortion too. It's running out of memory. I'm really happy! I can't wait til it's fixed. I've been slowly working on the lightning Mage. I really think the lightning Mage kicks ass. Billy
Since you found the crashing issue and I know it will be fixed I went ahead, purchased more gems, and now have double coins, 9 additional slots, and unlimited dungeon ticket for my lightning Mage. I have faith you will fix the crashes. Now it's going to take a while to get it up to my fire mages abilities. I really love the lightning mages special attacks. The thing is though with the one that confuses the enemies can you make that so it also just effects the area around the Mage and you don't have to aim it? Because your constantly moving I'm missing a lot and it's not very effective. Also will you be adding ice and fire resistant skill we can upgrade like the poison? Lastly if you could please raise the cap on battlemage to 9 I would sincerely appreciate it. It would help with the event dungeons immensely. Thank you for lowering the cost of the potions and also making the monsters drop them. That was a very kind move on your part and very much appreciated. Lastly, in the store, why do I constantly get offered items I would never use? I shouldn't be offered four fire Mage items when I'm on my lightning Mage. After the update game loads fine. Very enjoyable game. Deeper than I expected. Dev seems active. Will support as soon as I figure out where to do purchases. I want to buy a coin doubler for sure.
UPDATE IS LIVE! NO MORE CRASHES!!!!! Woo hoo finally. Also jewelry and items are adding to skills properly. You devs finally did it. I haven't had any crashes. Not a single crash! Nothing! Finally!! Just to celebrate I bought another gem pack lol. I'm a whale in this game lol. I should have a gold membership card. I'm still requesting what I asked for in my precious message. @LordShad0wz The items of shop is refreshed randomly when app is restarting.(You should quit a game completely. Great items & useless items are just a luck !) Next, I'll adjust skills (inferno, frost - according to level, get wider or longer, passive skill - resist magic). New area & new mobs would be updated ! (I made mobs - goblins, golems, rizardman.....) New mobs will appear in new area. I think Paper Wizard needs more content. After content update, I'll add new class. It isn't fixed. I'd like to add melee attack wizard. (I'm not sure) The skill system is not so flexible in Paper Wizard, so it's hard to add new skill into existing class. So, for example, the ice 2 class with new skills might be added..... Hard mode will be also included when ready. Give me ideas !!! Thanks.
Hi Arboc, I'm pretty much a veteran player. I have dozens of hours played and I've spent about $30 in this game. So here are some tips. Make 1 Mage of each class. Start playing. I'd say before spending any money take a week playing each class. Watch all the ads everyday and check back a few times a day the ads refresh pretty quick. Use the ads for jewels and then use the jewels for skill points and unlock new attacks in all your new classes so you can try them out. After a week you should get a sense of what type of Mage you like playing the most. The one you will want to concentrate on. For me it was fire. On that Mage I would buy several of the 50 jewel packs and purchase the following: 2x gold Extra 9 slots Unlimited dungeon ticket Then out whatever jewels are left and buy skill points. Start maxing out your Mage skills first or atleast concentrate on them more before going nuts on your attacks. The reason is as you raise your spell levels they will start sucking mana. So having good mana regen and battlemage skills is a must. Concentrate on getting to the highest level of the campaign mode before worrying about the event dungeons. Also the bosses in the campaign mode give out epic equipment. Oh and do NOT trade gold for experience. The exchange rate is so bad it's truly not worth it. Just keep buying potions. Believe me when you do an event dungeon you will go through 30 potions easily. I always keep atleast 200 healing and mana potions on my fire Mage. At minimum. Billy
Making inferno get wider and longer would be freaken awesome! It would help so much! Thank you! I have my inferno to level 48 and I end up not using it most of the time because it simply doesn't do enough damage and I get overwhelmed. Billy
Ideatory, Does the game generate +2 all skill necklaces? It seems like I never see any really good epic necklaces. There's lots of great choices for rings and staffs but necklaces I never see anything really good. I did find a +1 all skill but that's it. I've been experimenting with different staffs and jewelry. Right now I have all my skills (skill points maxed and added jewelry) to 10 and got my fire Mage attack spells to 97- Fire balls 57- Inferno 5- Fire wall. I never use this as I always miss where I want to put it. I wish we could tap the screen quick where we want this to go. So I just don't use it. It's not worth the skill points. 20- Ring of Fire 20- Meteor- I wish this spell was tighter around the Mage. It will go into different rooms sometimes and miss a lot. Is there anyway to make it tighter? I wish I could get battlemage and fast casting higher for the fire balls. I use a ring with +2 all skills and found the necklace with +1 all skills. But if you make the inferno more effective and wider I'll add more points to it as it will be more effective. It would definitely be better for the event dungeons. Also with the castle. I just beat it. It's anticlimactic. There needs to be a boss at the end! Man it's tough! But I was waiting for a boss, like a super powerful version of them and nothing it just said I won. Hehe. Also you mentioned a melee Mage. How would that work? I've never heard of doing something like this so I'm actually intrigued. It would be something never done before. Btw I'm level 32. The levels are really getting hard to make now. Even when doing the castle those mobs don't give a lot of experience. Billy
