With few exceptions, I never considered Arcade catalogue attractive; not in the past, not now. I think their best effort has been including "+" games. As for Netflix, I'm not a series/movies person, so I can't justify a subscription for a few games I already have somewhere else and I won't play anymore, anyway. Fun fact is there are still many N subscribers who don't know/care about the games on offer with the service. squarezero likes this. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,003 113 #5 ste86uk, May 22, 2024 @sebgo its all a free bonus for me. I haven’t had live tv for many years so I don’t have to pay the extortionate prices in the U.K. for that and a television licence when I hardly get any time to watch any anyway. So I’ve always had Netflix instead so I love all the free bonus games for me. sebgo likes this. sebgo Well-Known Member Dec 26, 2010 834 399 63 Male 95% leisure. Sounds like an interesting topic to learn about. ( °⌓°) Edit: A quick GPT consultation mentioned some annual fee for color and b&w TV, and access to live broadcast content. I asked about quality and it mentioned being usually considered high quality. Here, such fees don't exist, therefore content quality is mostly bad, with national channels focusing on shytti brainless reality shows, a terrible soccer league or soap operas, with educational, cultural and objective content being a rare sight. Well, I learned something new before the end of the day/world. Haha "BBC". anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,128 704 113 #7 anthony78, May 23, 2024 When Apple Arcade first started they had some fantastic original games that were more tailored towards the hardcore gamers like Fantasian, Manifold Garden and The Last Campfire. I used to love Apple Arcade. Back then they would have been in more direct competition. Haven’t really felt excited about AA in a long time though. Don’t care for the “+” games because I’ve played most of them and overall they are leaning more causal and younger. That’s another reason I haven’t bothered with Apple Arcade. Most of the + games I’ve got already and it’s just a lazy way of adding more games. I want original games not ones from the App Store from years back anthony78 likes this. sebgo Well-Known Member Dec 26, 2010 834 399 63 Male 95% leisure. Like, if Game+ is in Arcade, then you can count on it being available in your purchase history. You know with Apple you own nothing when it comes to digital purchases, and one day they might be gone just because they had an argument with some gaming company or because a developer isn't making any profit from their apps. The more + games on Arcade, the better, especially if they're games in our purchase history. But yeah, it's also a lazy attempt.
