Yeah, it does have that feel when you zap into background for a little bit. We are working on an unlockable minigame along those lines. Yes, endless and high score but, not so much classic "endless run" More like forced running where the camera keeps moving. The best comparison would be, something like the miniboss levels on new super mario brothers. But, going to the side instead of up and of course endless. I can't say if that would be on launch or something for an update but, we are building it and plan to put it in at some point. Personally I think just the minigame would be able to stand on it's own so, it should make a nice bonus... especially with Game Center leaderboards too
Looks like a HUGE improvement since the original Doodle Monster. I'll be keeping an eye (or two) on this thread.
This is definitely one of my most wanted games of 2011. I am digging the concept and art stlye, equally. Platformers are an under-rated and overlooked genre on iOS (at least ones that compare to Mario). Especially on iPad. Thank you for supporting the larger screen platform. Especially, the iPad 2 with it's bells and whistles. Any app optimized for the iPad 2 is a shoe in success, as there is slim pickings overall for optimized apps.
Wow, this does look great. Copy LoE or RWK's controls, though, or it will be hated on for poor controls. Keep up the GREAT work!
A minigame sounds great, especially since its endless! I wanted to know of an "endless" type game b/c I don't really buy games unless they have features that allow me to come back and play over and over again, rather than just beating lets say 50 lvls and then never come back to the game.
Great definitely going to pick this up when it comes out then. Like the idea of playing at different depths. As long as things don't get to cluttered it could add something original and fun.
This app has caught my attention for quite sometime now. Probably my most anticipated game at the moment. Hope it's out before the fall.
Yeah, clutter can be a issue on little screens but, it should be ok. If something is in front of you it just fades so it doesn't block your view. Safe to say probably 95% of the gameplay takes place in the front anyways. Thanks!
As an eighties gamer, I'm a huge platform fan and with this looking so polished, I'm genuinely very excited about this. With the plans for universal support, Retina Display, the minigame angle, bosses, etc it sound like the devs are bang on the money. I'll add my name to the growing army of iGamers with more than a watchful eye over this.
Wait a sec, in your signature you say that you're playing WoG and Infinity Blade... on the original iPhone? Wtf?
I share an ipod touch 4 with someone else, mostly his but I use it for gaming and let him play other games on my account. That way I can actually play all the games I have bought in anticipation of upgrading soon.
By looking at this artwork model, im pretty impressed, it really catches my attention how will this game be played as. is there any videos we can see too?
Ah. I know this lady, she bugs. Does that suit you? Drums*BuHDuHBuH* Thank you, thank you. I kid, I kid. A lady bug suit would be sweet!
