Timeless - For the futureĀ avoid IAP that is in-game currency like the plaque. That's what the IAP in Fish Tales is I'm guessing (never played this game). Those usually aren't transferable between devices. Anyway really looking forward to Paper Monsters! Hopefully it plays as nice as it looks. Also thanks for adding iCade support.
We're still trying to submit before Xmas. Not sure if it would even be able to get out by Xmas now, though.
Oh . But better late and free of bugs than unfinished. Any chance for some gameplay video? And what about: ?
There are two types of IAP. "Consumable" and then normal IAP. Normal IAPs (for example in this game's case - a new cosmetic item) only ever charge you once. For all apps. This is not something that has to be turned on. It is just like in the App Store - if you buy a normal IAP purchase on one device, and then buy it again on another device, it will tell you that you already purchased it and you will not be charged anything. The other type of IAP - the evil kind - is the "consumable" IAP. Stuff that you buy and you use it up in the game. These kinds of IAPs are not transferable because there is nothing to transfer. It is up to the developer to sync these things in iCloud, for example. Most "social" games that use the consumable IAP do this by storing your data on another server. Because you can buy the same consumable IAP item over and over and over again, there's no way for Apple to give you credit for these things when you move to another device.
Ok but these are fish you buy with gems in the game and maps not coins that you would use playing the game. Are these consumable Iaps.
It's not punishing you! It basically means that the whole games was not bought! You must pay more to continue.
Any New Updates Anything new on this game. It looks really good. It's amazing to look at this kind of quality that can be played on the IPhone.
I doubt it, considering the approval times of Apple, and that Beta testing only started a few days ago. (Not that this is a big and complex game like aralon, but testing can still take some time)
I think people can forgive as few glitches in a game like Aralon. A platformer like this one needs to be very, very polished. Beta testers definitely need time to do their job properly.
That's true. A smaller game definitely should have less glitches/bugs than a game such as Aralon should.
