Wrong forum. So it's AppSniper vs. Bargain Bin vs. Pandora's Box. AS got a lot of competition pretty darn fast.
I checked this out, not a bad free alternative to AS. The thing it is lacking is category filters. I find such filtering necassary.
I like appsniper but the rating has gone so it is not as good as it used to be, do any of the alternatives have ratings??
Yeah what's the deal with appsnipers ratings? Have they said if they will fix it or not soon? I will look into padoras box as well.
It happened around the same time itunes bought out this new ratings system, so i assume its to do with that.
Your probably right now that there are multiple ratings by version I bet that is messing appsniper up. Hope they fix it soon. I am downloading padora box now and will give initial opinion in a bit.
Ok my summarized opinion. For those without appsniper and to cheap to buy it padora box is an ok replacement. The only thing is you can not veiw all price changes or new apps at the same time you have to do either paid or free. It also seems to only update daily. It does have a normal search unlike appsniper. You can not set a price that you want it to alert you at but simply must see any activity with one of your favorites. I have appsniper and I much prefer it and it is well worth the price considering how much it has saved me.

So then using that theory, ALL posts on TA should just be dropped into the Games section, and we'd have no need for any other categories... Naaah, I think not the Games section is for games, and the App section is for apps. Simple.
The lite is not available in italy (maybe in all Europe...?) is there a reason for that or do we just have to wait?
I asked, and they have no immediate plans to release the Lite version outside of the US. I also would have liked them to, but apparently they chose not to. Right now I use PandoraBox but it could use a little more polish. (Notifications of pricedrops for your favourites, right now when you search and there are 4 results, you can't select the 4th result, filtering for the Games category, etc.) I'll contact the dev about them and even ask him/her to join these forums.
