Try the level with the 'helping hand" on. You should be able to just guess your way through a line. After you see the solution to the line you want solved, restart the level without the helping hand on.
Having finished the game last year, I still haven't deleted it from my ipod in hopes of one day seeing a familiar icon pop up on the updates tab in App Store. No luck so far. I'll gladly pay for a content update. I just can't find a good replacement for this app. Others are just lame.
An update to the iOS and Mac versions of Paint it Back is coming on July 24! It's a free update that adds a new room called The Archives. Within that room are 12 new paintings, including: "Satan Explaining to Bigfoot Why He Should've Gotten Baptized" and "You'd Better Smile for the Smile Patrol." Plus there's one new achievement. And also - the Android version of PiB is releasing on the same day!
This is great news; Paint it Back is one of my favourite puzzle games on iOS. Would love to know if you are working on another game. Cheers. Edit: Update is live!
Sweet. Picked up the update - I'll save the puzzles for tomorrow, as I have some scheduled downtime. This was a pleasant surprise for when I came home from work today.
Today I finally got all the achievements!! I really love this game, please more puzzles soon!! I have a question hopefully someone is going to read this, does doing a puzzle in glory mode on expert count towards doing it in the gallery? If I were to just continuously play through them would it eventually get all the ribbons unlocked? Hope that makes sense
Paint it Back has been updated to v2.0 - and it's live on the app store! What's new: - Free bonus room "2016 US Election." - Master difficulty mode - play big paintings at their full size. - Undo/Redo buttons. - Playable with MFi game controllers. - Marks Mode - make temporary marks on the painting. - One new achievement - "Master Master." - Play in portrait or landscape on iPhone or iPad. - Still free to download but now the first 75 paintings are free. - Still $2.99 to unlock the whole game. - Lots more little things. I rewrote the game from scratch in Unity and released it on Steam, now I'm re-releasing that version (minus the Workshop stuff) on iOS. It's better. Gotta be running at least iOS 8.0, though.
This is fantastic! It's my first experience of picross, but I love a logic puzzle. What a great game.
Absolutely love this game - had never done any nonograms up to this point and happened across this shortly after an operation which immobilised my left arm and hand for 3 months - this was my sanity saver, spent weeks floating on codeine and playing this. Excellent game, really well put together and love the art/humour. Can highly recommend - and really glad to see an update!
iCloud sync not working @CasualLabs: My iCloud sync isn't working, do you have any advice for me? I have an iPad since about 1,5 years and played the free version of Paint it Back for a bit and then stopped. Recently, I got an iPhone and remembered this game so I got it on my phone too. Magically, all of my progress from the iPad was already on the Phone when I started the game the first time. Since then, I also got the full version but now the Progress I made on the phone won't sync back to the pad. I've had similar issues with clash royale (initial sync worked but afterwards it didn't) so maybe the issue is with my phone or icloud. I upgraded to iCloud drive, logged out of my icloud account and back in, reinstalled the app multiple times, but nothing seems to work. Do you have any ideas?
iCloud can be temperamental. Here's some things to try: - Make sure both iPad and iPhone are running the latest version. - Make sure both iPad and iPhone are signed in to the same iCloud account. - If the above was already set correctly, try what's below (although it sounds like you did something similar already) - On your iPad, go to settings/iCloud, scroll to the bottom and touch "Sign Out." Say yes to all those warnings about things being deleted off my iPad (if you're ok with that.) After that, go to settings/iCloud and sign back in. - On your iPhone, go to main menu/options and hit Cloud Save. - On your iPad, go to main menu/options and hit Cloud Load.
