Do these exist? I really like the clash of clans games in terms of gamestyle, but i do NOT want to have timers and extyra power for money. Basicly a "free to play" management game that is not "free to play". i dont mind a purchase price for the game.
Plants Vs. Zombies 2 For me, the grind happens when you need coins to pass some REALLY hard areas (and believe you me, the community even agrees that some of them could give nightmares). For the most part, you can pass levels on your own. If not the first try, then perhaps up to many more repeat attempts. No timers here. TO get coins, I watched some ads, but earned the rest in game. I now have 386K coins, so I'm fairly set there Gems... "premium currency", used to buy certain premium plants, but not required to beat the game (which is constantly getting updated with new zones and features). Real $$ is used to by certain upgrades (the last seed slot, the last plant food slot, certain premium plants). I haven't bothered with these yet. Does it make it harder? Yes. I just play the game as is. If you're so inclined, a one time purchase of $4 to $11 to unlock these benefits would be not a bad way to go. You support the devs by paying what you normally would for a good game, but don't have to keep paying in real $$ over and over again Castlestorm You can breeze through the campaign, but alas, there is an artificial pay wall/timer of if you don't keep up with gems (and yeah, with these f2p games, it's always gems ), you miss out on 1-time offers to unlock certain new equipment, spells, and troops. Many of these take gems, and the savings are huge by getting in on those 1-time dicsounts. They present themselves thorugh out the campaign, and as bonuses when you do your daily reward. YOu can get gems by paying real $$, converting Pearls into gems (another in-game currency), or watching ads to get gems. I paid a 1time fee of $3 to become an VIP where in-game ads are disabled (not to be confused with watching ads for gems), double XP, 2500 coins and 10 gems per week.
