Lucky Frame is looking for a concept artist to work on a series of music games for iOS. Core duties Art Direction, Concept Art Production character and NPC design animation background / environment art user interface design and art game design Other skills or interests that would be really useful Programming Web design Music The ideal candidate would be experienced in Game production Mobile interface design Game design We are a young and very small company based in Edinburgh, and have recently received investment from Channel 4 and Creative Scotland to develop a series of music games. You will be primarily working on these games with the two other main members of Lucky Frame, and possibly a few others as we grow. We work hard, but generally try to observe standard working hours. We love to make fun creative artistic things in general, and you should too. You must be highly motivated, excited by making things, and be able to work well without always being told what to do. The ideal candidate will be visually focused but have a wide range of knowledge, possibly including some form of coding language, web design, music, or something else we cant even imagine. As part of a small team your tasks will be varied and you should be nimble and confident enough to take anything on. In a given day you may need to develop an art direction for a game, work out a gameplay mechanic, update the website, tweak some code, and give your opinion on whatever else is going on in the office.
