Does no one else think this will be a defensive battle? Both teams have very strong defenses and I think they will focus on stopping the other team over offensive superiority.

    My prediction stands,
    Packers 21
    Steelers 13

I disagree. The steelers are the closers, that's what they are known for. I'm sorry to say but it's true.

@Brazilian Rider: how are they dirty!

Packers will lose, 'nuff said. Next year is the year of the CHIEFS!!!

What makes you so confident the Packers will lose? Both their defense and offense performed better than the Steelers D and offense yesterday. Not to mention the fact the Packers have a better offense in every aspect except for running back. I really don't see that Packers losing, and if they do lose, it will be very close.

    1) Vikings vs Saints NFCCG last year, Brett Favre was hit 20+ times with only one sack.
    2) Entire game vs Seahawks and Buccaneers at the end of the year there where flagrant late hits on the QB, hits on WR when they did not have the ball that should've been called, plus at the end of the Seahawks game when Seattle was taking a knee and the Saints took that as an opportunity to cheap shot their players.
    3) They're just the dirtiest scumbags (from the games I've seen them play) in football.

The Saints are not a "dirty" team. They were obviously angry that their playoff hopes were cut short by the 7-9 Seahawk, they were just acting as any human would. If you wanted to see a dirty game i would recommend watching the Ravens and Chiefs or the Texans and Titans. The way those two teams were acting makes the Saints seem like, well, Saints.

Exactly, and cortland finnegan almost got his head cut in half in that titans texans game so. I think a lot more teams are dirtier than the saints.

The Texans aren't dirty lol, Andre Johnson just had enough of Cortland Finnegan.

That being said, on all the teams you named, I can think of one individually cheap player (i.e. Cortland Finnegan, etc.), with the Saints, I just see their overall team being cheap.

    And "lucky" with the referees.

Not to mention Sean Payton steals Vicodin lol.

    My espn analysis

Both teams had very ugly wins last Sunday, the Packers offense get into a slump, and the Steelers defense and offense gave up 19 unanswered points to the Jets. While both teams showed some weakness I believe both will bounce back with the extra week off. Both Big Ben and Rodgers are both superb players that can be easily compared, they both can both throw and run, making them a greater threat. I believe Rodgers is the better of the two, he is so accurate and can put so much power behind the ball, remember the 31 of 36 game? Ben is strong, but not quite as accurate. In terms of runningbacks the Steelers have the clear advantage, Mendenhall has been great for short yardage situations and showed he could eat up big chunks of the field early in the Jets game. Starks is really an unknown, he has not played enough to be accuartely judged for ability. Though the Packers have a difficult time running the ball their recivers make up for it, Jennings and Lee are gaoing to be huge in this game, I see them as more capable than Wallace and Ward. The defense of both teams is going to be the main matchup for this game. Clifton against Harrison will be an interesting matchup to see, both show great ability. The Packers will be using Matthews and Woodson for pressure against Ben, and the Steelers also better hope their center will be playing because Raji will bring surious pressure if he is not. It will be a defensive battle, count on it.

    Predicted Score
    Packers: 21
    Steelers: 17

well..... That is why I said I don't think they will be able to close it, which is why they will lose. :D

Also I have been a Packers fan since the 60's, so, I have to root for them anyways. Should be a great game though.

Me too lol. Anyway less than an hour. A lot of people say packers including drew brees in an interview today. Gonna be a fun/good game. Packers have to bring their A-game if they want to win. It will be a tough one.

Grats to the Pack and all their fans. Pretty decent game though I had more fun watching the Puppy Bowl.
