So it's the cheeseheads vs. the well i don't know the nickname of the steelers. Anyway, two very good teams, it will be a great game to watch. So who's your pick? I want the packers badly, so of course you know mine. Let the best team win.

Also wanted to add this thread will be for the superbowl and will include any updates; like predictions, injury reports, and any other associated matter. Check back here for news on the game.

  2. Bears

    should have won.

I like the bears as well, but I like the packers more. Truefully I like the saints the most, but look where they are.

Seeing Rex Ryan throw his headset on the ground made me smile. I want the Packers to win, but I like the Steelers for taking out the Jets.

BTW the it's cheeseheads vs terrible towels I guess.

Well both teams had very ugly wins today. The Packers D did a great job today and was the reason they won. The steelers, on the other hand, gave up 19 unanswered points in the second half (not to mention their offense was shut out in the second half), that shows a considerable weakness in their defense, their offense didn't do great either, Big Ben didnt even break 200 yards passing, with the exception of Mendenhall it was an offensive failure. This will be a defensive battle, and from what we saw in today's games I say the Packers win it.

    Packers: 20
    Steelers: 14

I will post my ESPN.com analysis later this week.

Bears vs Packers was such a lame game to watch. I was expecting (or hoping, at least) for it to be one of those close games that keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole way through to make the game itself live up to the hype of such an epic rivalry. For Chicago area sports fans, it seriously doesn't get better than Bears vs Packers for who goes to the Superbowl.

Instead it was just three quarters of the Bears getting raped, then they remembered how to play football with about five minutes left on the clock.

You, sir, can go f*ck yourself with a rusty bayonet. Like seriously.

Anyways, I guess the Pack is going to win. But I hate both teams equally. So it really really doesn't f*cking matter to me.

I'm going to make that Rex Ryan moment my screensaver.

Ha, if it makes you feel any better I'm a Cowboys fan. ;)

hahahahaa. Yeah that makes me feel a tad better ;)

I was more or less kidding but god damnit I am so disappointed with the Jets. They could have had it really. Not so much the first half of the game (as it was clear they needed some kind of Ryan 'If you lose this, I am going to sit naked on all of your faces' ultimatum) but the second half they should have kept it strong.

About half of our family lives in Baltimore, but we all like both the local team and the Packers. But it's just such a coincidence because this Christmas we received both a Packers Cheesehead and a Steelers Terrible towel.
    Anyway Go Packers!

Hahaha it was awesome. I wanted the Patriots but...
I want the Packers, but I think the Steelers will win. They've had a few rough games this season, but when they click, they REALLY click, and they're a team that performs well under pressure. Should be a good game-easily my most anticipated Super Bowl since Patriots vs Giants back in '07

Oh yeah he steelers will win, they'll find a way no doubt, but I hope the packers stomp on the Big Bens head with the metal spike cleats. :)

Anyway I'll add some more info later on all of the stuff I mentioned in the first post.

Saints are the dirtiest team in NFL history.

And Peter King predicted this match-up in August, picking the Steelers to win 33-27.

Packers 27 - 24... They have been playing with a lot of heart the past several games, and I think that there recent games have all been very close...

I don't think that the Steelers will be able to close it... Close, but no Super Bowl Ring...
